    I went there in January this year and I’m going back later this month, that tells you that it was good, the food was great, the only problem was that the pool was being refurbished, but it was low season.
    The staff were friendly to me and my Mrs,I’m so sorry that you had to push the rotating door when you walked in.

    I thought this hotel was great tbh, pretty unique inside.
    The West side of the hotel does point more at the ocean whilst the East side is over the land. However a quick glance at the map will show you how far it is away.
    The beauty of this hotel is every room gets the Sun just about all day which is a great!
    I didn’t like the carpets but it certainly helped quieten the hotel down(usually you hear the cleaners carts knocking about at most others)

      Me too honestly! As I mentioned in the video, I really admired the architecture of the hotel, but most things pretty much sucked during my stay there..

      @@FJAviTravel hey that sucks and it does happen! I’ve stayed at many hotels here(mostly in playa blanca) and the majority have been really good but sometimes you do get that poor service at a time which can let them down.
      I’ve stayed at The volcan quite a bit and one year the breakfast food was cold all week, I heard many guest complaining and it weirdly fell on death ears.
      Everyone was microwaving their food after they plated it up! Was quite funny haha
      All they had to do was turn the heat up on those dispensers, quite bizarre but only takes one member of staff sometimes…

    I have been to this hotel several times and not found your problems. There is another door to enter the hotel by the ramp which YOU DIDNT GO TO. The food is different daily and many choices. The pizza place and bamboo are open certain days and you have to book but that's not a problem. I've never had bugs in my food? Maybe you brought your own! The staff are friendly, maybe some are shy or cannot speak very good English but it is a Spanish speaking island. We have been in several rooms at different parts of the hotel if you wasn't happy you should have changed rooms. Im not a plane spotter but enjoyed looking out at the planes as they arrived. It wasnt that noisey and you couldnt hear them once in the room with the door shut. There is water on tap during the day and bottles are available at the evening entertainment bar. Besides you can go to the spa store and buy large bottles cheap enough if you want to but you obviously expect a lot for your money. The cracks you mentioned are not all cracks some are patches of paintwork missing but they do refresh the paint and the flower troughs are outside open to the elements as well as being watered so will suffer at times. Again nothing major. This video did not show the true hotel as I've seen it. So to your viewers go visit it yourself and make up your own mind. Not all guests moan like this man as they don't expect 5* hotel for 3* money.

      I have made this review objectively, brutally honest, and according to my experience there. If your experience was different, then feel free to share it, that's why there is a comment section here (thanks for commenting).
      Anyways, as I said in the video, my overall experience was bad. You mentioned something about the other door with a ramp... where was it?? Because it is nowhere near the reception. If there is one though, it is very well hidden and absolutely inconvenient. Yes, you are right about the food. It is different every day (kind of) but as I stated when you enter the buffet and go both to the left & right you'd see the same exact food (split in a symmetrical way) that's what I meant in the video. If it tasted decent at least I wouldn't complain btw. Regarding the other buffets, we haven't received any information about those upon arrival and we weren't the only ones. I am not saying I am not okay with them wanting you to book the tables there in advance, I am saying that how they managed it and the overall process of that is ridiculous and unprofessional. Have you ever been to other hotels? Because from what you wrote it seems like not...
      Also, you saying I brought my own bugs there is wretched. The staff... most of them were unfriendly, at least those that I had interactions with. Before you reply (if you ever do), please, don't say I must've been rude to them or something. You don't know me just like I don't know you, so you saying that would be rude and totally wrong. Btw, I am not judging anyone's language skills here, I personally speak 4 languages so I know how hard it is to learn English if you're Spanish, for instance. But what I am referring to here is the way they communicate and interact. Meaning in an unprofessional and sometimes rude way. Again, how the staff manages things is poor.
      Regarding the room... man we tried asking at the reception (or moaned as you'd call it :D) but they sent us to oblivion. As I said in the video, I PAID EXTRA MONEY for an ocean view, yet hadn't received one. Okay, maybe it was Booking's fault as they didn't specify correctly what kind of room it would be, but that money I paid, I will never see again and it wasn't a small amount...
      Tap water? Where?? Oh from the sinks in the hotel room? Maybe, but personally, I wouldn't drink that. Other hotels I've been to in Lanzarote offer water bottles and drinking machines at bars throughout the WHOLE DAY and not just specific hours of the day. Btw I am comparing that to hotels in the SAME PRICE CATEGORY which Beatriz definitely shouldn't be in (eg. THB Hotels).
      Yes, bottles were available at the evening entertainment bar, but their supplies ran out super fast as everyone was waiting to get water, so some poor people had to go buy water bottles somewhere. I am not saying I have a problem with buying water, it's just that for the price I paid and the service and ratings etc. water bottles should've been available at any time of the day. Why can other hotels do that and Beatriz not???
      Cracks in the walls... as I mentioned in another comment here already I wouldn't mind them if there were only a few but they were literally everywhere I looked and considering all the circumstances and bad experience I just had to mention it as it couldn't go unnoticed at this point. Patches? Well then they haven't done it properly because usually when you fix something the problem is no more... what I am saying is that they could've used the same color as the wall so that the patches aren't visible even more than the cracks... just saying ;)
      To wrap things up, everybody has a different view of everything, meaning there are going to be people loving smth & people complaining about smth. That's life. Everybody has a different opinion on everything and in my case here, if you watch my other videos, you can see I do my reviews objectively and unbiased (from the POV of an average customer). As I was releasing the video, I knew there would be people that have visited the hotel and had a different experience... again the comments are open for anybody here and as long as nobody is harassing anyone about their opinions than go ahead, state your opinion, and share your experience! I do as well encourage those who want to, go ahead and visit the hotel yourself and let us know what was the experience like.
      PS: Don't say I expected a 5* experience because that's not true. I expected a 4* experience as this hotel is officially rated 4*, but clearly doesn't deserve those 4. Yes, absolutely, if the hotel was 3* I wouldn't complain about most things but from what they advertise and so on it definitely doesn't deserve 4. The price wasn't appropriate and unreasonably high for this kind of service.

    Soo basically I'm just back for here and I would rate a 2 out of 5 maybe a 3, the bed I had was horrible and the springs were in my back. The food was plain. Bars were open but sometimes travelplan. The other restaurants r free for all inclusive but are a wate of time tbh. The staff were ok but 1 woman sent me to the wrong stop when I asked for the bus stop at reception.

    Im looking to book here in 2024, can somebody tell me if the junior suite has a separate bedroom as me my wife and daughter are going and i really done want all the beds in the same room but the website has no actual info i can find.

      Hi we booked with easyJet and have the junior suite booked. Easyjet sent this through recently so we don't know if it is separate now? Just so you know, there were some errors in our room content at the time of your booking which have now been corrected. The following facilities were incorrectly advertised on our website: Balcony, Bathtub, Hairdryer, Minibar, Safe, Terrace, TV, Wi-Fi and 3 Extra Beds in Lounge/Bedroom. The facilities provided in the room type you have booked are as follows: Sofa Bed in Bedroom, Double or Twin Beds, Air Conditioning, Balcony or Terrace, Shower in Bath and WC. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

    No offence but I think you didn’t get all inclusive as you claim coffee is 2 euros and that the spa is expensive where in all inclusive this is free possibly the website you booked explained it wrong and you got half bored accidentally

      No, that's not true because we got all-inclusive 100%. When I talked to the management staff of that hotel, they assured me I had all-inclusive. All all-inclusive guests had the same bracelet as we did, and there was no way to get that spa included in any pension at the hotel...

      It's not about that, I wouldn't mind if the service wasn't as bad as it was. It's about the management, the way they communicated & how they solved issues..

    I'm staying in this hotel at the moment , and it is a absolute dump. 😤 Rude staff , terrible food , paid a fortune for the all inclusive but we have ate and drank elsewhere . I know people can be over the top complainers but seriously terrible hotel , book elsewhere

    Your moaning about a few random thing you had a sea view just because it wasn't directly in front of you, Ur also moaning about a few cracks in the walls does that really affect Ur holiday, fair enough with the drink pumps and machines being out of order is not right and the sandwich looked horrible.

      Tbh I wouldn't have moaned about the ocean view if I weren't scammed for that. As I mentioned in the video, when I booked the hotel they specifically stated that it would be an ocean view room and I paid extra money for that!! So keep that in mind. If they didn't ask for extra money I wouldn't complain about that view. The cracks in the walls were disgusting to look at, again, I wouldn't have cared much if there were a few but I had to mention it since they were literally everywhere. I'm not even gonna mention that mold all over the ceiling... anyways I do get your idea here. You see, I don't want to sound like a primitive douche complaining about everything. Watch my other hotel review videos and you'll see that my reviews are brutally honest and objectively made. In this case, I just had to and I am sad that I had to make a video like this because as I mentioned I was looking forward to stay at Beatriz for months ahead.

      @@FJAviTravel sorry didn't realise you paid extra didn't hear my kid was talking while I was watching btw I go Lanzarote every year you probably went out of season in December really so not a lot would be open then after Christmas they would probably do improvement ready for new coming season.

      Stayed there quite a few years ago & it was great,now I wouldn’t go back,I’ve heard it’s been bought over by Hipotels,don’t know if it’s true,I’m a regular to Matagorda,but now go self catering,I get why the hotels have gone all inclusive there,but they really need to up their game

You have "travel" in your nickname and you don't have common knowladge that offer in hotels is mostly incomplete due to less visitors? Other things, you're complaining about cracks in the walls?       Smells like a competitor? 🤣 great joke. Yea hotels usually pay me to make these reviews, and this one didn't pay me enough, so I got mad and made a bad review. Now, in case you didn't get it (supposing that you wouldn't xd), it was a joke. Yes, I stayed in December. You see, I have a life, unlike some people, and I just didn't have time to edit the video until recently. Have you even stayed in this hotel, btw? If not, well then, if I were you, I'd shut up because you have no right to defend this hotel as you haven't experienced it by yourself. I'm not saying you shouldn't state your opinion. In fact, I'm all ears what you have to say. If I wanted to, I'd delete all the bad comments, but I won't. Also, you are saying that my knowledge about travel is incomplete. Well, I'm not perfect. Nobody is, in fact, perfect, but considering what I have experienced so far and I have actually traveled to quite a few places in the world already I can firmly say I have a great experience in the travel industry. Again, I'm not saying I had eaten the encyclopedia. I might be wrong sometimes, of course, that's why the comment section is here. Anyways, actually, Canary Islands are a big tourist destination throughout the entire year. Oh, did you know there are more planes and scheduled / charter flights to Lanzarote in December than in, let's say, July/August (summer)? I bet you didn't because u can't even look at flightradar to see that more people actually fly there around Christmas than in the summer season 😃. Oh, and I would not complain about their service at all if it weren't for the staff's incompetence and rudeness + the management of the services they offer overall. Regarding the cracks in the walls, I would not give a single sh*t about them if they weren't literally everywhere. That was actually the least of my concerns when staying there, but I had to mention it as it was really disgusting to look at (again, as it was everywhere I looked). Oh, and if you ever reply to this comment before saying anything first, I'd watch other hotel reviews on this channel in your place to see that there really are better hotels which offer way better service for the price I paid for in Beatriz (also in Lanzarote btw) oh and don't say that I'm ust promoting my other videos here 🙃 I am just defending... anyways thanks for stating your opinion.

      @@FJAviTravel I will be in this hotel again in August and I will make video that there is a huge diffrence beetwen summer and winter. Or maybe this hotel get worse past 2 eyars idk

    This video was meant to be filmed 5th July 2023 well a group of 7 of us was there on the 17th July 2023 all the stuff u have talked about we did not find anything like your showing this is all wrong we didn't fine anything wrong with this hotel food was good we didn't like the burgers in the burger bar but u liked it so think this is down to people's choice n taste just some people r trying to find every little thing wrong like yourself stop been so dramatic

    complain that you had "to push" a door complaining that you could not check in at 900 am (check in is 3.00pm) food it is buffer not ever good you got an ocean view you moaned and groaned about everything you went looking for problems if you want 5 star treatment pay the rate for it

    To be honest, I actually went there. There was really good at activities, but the only downfall was planes coming in. It was terrible.
