Mariupol defender breaks down his famous Azovstal photos

- Dmytro Kozatskyi, call sign "Orest," is a Ukrainian soldier who formerly headed the press service of the Azov regiment. He was based in Mariupol when Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022, and soon ended up at the last Ukrainian stronghold in the city - the Azovstal steel plant. Thanks to the photographs he took inside the bunkers of the plant, the world was able to witness the horrors in which both soldiers and civilians had to endure almost non-stop Russian bombardment.
In this video, Kozatskyi breaks down his famous photographs and shares his memories about the Russian siege of Mariupol.

All those sacrifices could have been avoided if the peace talks back in 2022 had been completed. Ukraine walked out after Boris Johnson's visit.

The matter-of-fact honesty, and sheer goodness of this photographer and those who fought in Azovstal, many of whom are still in captivity, are the reason why Russia won't win. This is something that can't be defeated. There will be both highs and lows, but I still see light at the end of the tunnel.
Those in Azovstal also saw the light at the end of the tunnels, but they were mistaken, they were run over by a Russian train.
It is the same with Ukraine now. It is better for them to realize that the light at the end of the tunnel is not the exit from the tunnel, but the Russian train that is already trampling them.

Been largely rebuilt by Russia. Kid there documents the rebuild. (Videos from Mariupol) on YT.

Heartbroken for all Ukrainian defenders who are still in russian captivity. Amnesty International and the International Red Cross do absolutely nothing to help return POWs back to Ukraine or even visit them to protect them from torture and inhumane conditions of detention. Useless organizations that only collect money and do not fulfill their duties.

He had a lot of pictures on his twitter account with 1488 on his clothes and drawing swastika on his food. He deleted everything after he got into focus of western media. That was before their surrender in Azovstal.
