I agree with the double protection point of view. No contraceptive is 100%, so anything to lower the chances should be on the table.
I just think it's up to the people, "You aren't on the pill, then no I will not have sex with you as I'm not on the pill." simple as that, it shouldn't be forced but you can't expect to get freaky without any consequences of not wearing protection. Like imo I probably wouldn't take it, but I'm not going around sleeping with people, I would only do it with someone I'm in love with, not even for a religious reason.
I think if you want to take it, then go for it. But don't tell the other person they have to take it.
I'll never take it, and if a woman I was with didn't want to either, then we work with that. It's not rocket science

There is also something like a switch what you can implement where the sperm goes through. If its turned off, the sperms go into the balls. And the balls are detecting it as something there have to fight against and destroy it withinout any problem. So that means you got a load without the sperms inside.

I'm going to protect myself with condoms. I'm not protecting my partner, I'm protecting myself. I will use condoms over pills.
To the girl bringing up what women risk, the problem is that males and females are concerned with different things with bedroom fun. She's concerned by the risks _she_ takes, and not with the ones _he_ takes. STDs, her body being affected, the time she's incapacitated, etc. Yes, that's fine, she shouldn't be concerned about what risks he takes. But what that means is : her partner isn't and shouldn't be concerned with the risks she takes. It's the same thing.
If I ever decide to take the male pill, it will not be in order to alleviate my partner's duty of contraception, because it is still her responsibility, she is not alleviated of that. It will be for a very selfish reason, which is to protect myself, and that is my responsibility. If either of us is not protecting themselves, it's personally irresponsible. And if I wear a condom, and she uses some form of birth control, that's double protection right there. There could be an argument made for triple, quadruple, etc, protection, but then, diminishing returns. Also, if I wear a condom and she's not protecting herself, she's the one at fault if something happens. If I don't, and she does, then I'm the one at fault. But we have to realize that we have different biological drives, different interests, different mating strategies, different risks that we take, and that yes we should be aware of the other side's point of view and interests, but keep to acting according to ours instead of according to others'.
Edit : To make that point clearer : does anyone here know about female condoms ? About dental dams ? See, those options do exist, but firstly, 99% of people don't know about them, and secondly, women, mainly, won't use them because they don't want to. Does it matter that they are just as efficient as male condoms ? No. Most people either don't know about them or don't want to use them.
On a way more unprofessional matter, pills for men or women absolutely screw up the human body. Hense why I would never take it and never recommend any female to take it. There are other preventive measures then a pill that messes with hormones

There's "no obvious side effects" of the male one whereas the female one has many pretty bad ones so I think males should take them if it gets thru human trials instead of females or both depending on whatever they agree on
Claim "There is no side effect" while "if it gets through HUMAN trials" and noone blinks an eye on the bullshit you are spreading.
The best way I heard it argued is that women carry all the risk of pregnancy (physically, socially, and financially), and the man doesn't, therefore having to also put up with the side effects outweighs the risks involved in getting pregnant. Whereas men would be less willing to put up with side effects because the risks are so much lower, and why previous male pills haven't worked before is because they got pretty much the same side effects as women and to them it wasn't worth it.
Contraception should be used by anyone wanting to avoid pregnancy regardless of gender but the only person you have the rights to force taking contraception is yourself. If you take someone's word that they're on some sort of contraception and they or yourself get pregnant because you weren't using contraception that's your fault as you made the choice not to use any yourself both parties are only responsible for themselves condoms exist for a reason so use them even if there is still a risk its better than just taking someone's word. Always remember it is illegal for someone to bully you into having intercourse with them without contraception.
or they could wear protection. neither should HAVE to do either. some girls take the pill for cramps etc boys would only take it to stop having a baby, so its not as beneficial to them in most cases and if they rather wear a condom instead, that makes sense.

There's also hysterectomies for females chemical sterilisation for males and females
not everybody has the money to spend on vasectomies and go "off and on" when they pleased. I would say the best way to make people aware about contraception methods are actually teaching them sexual education. There's plenty of ways to have safe sex.
I agree with both but the new male stuff hasn’t been out long enough to show any late onset negative side effects once it’s been out long enough to see those effects then I think both parties should take it if they partake in sneaky one nighters.
