This was so peaceful and just amazing to watch, in general. Loved the way how both of you were so open and didn't hold back on saying anything, and how comfortable you both were also translated well through the screen and made me feel better about myself as well. Watching this a year later and bingewatching Funny Uber Stories... I love this friendship that grew out of a chance encounter. Thank you for sharing your story Phoebe. And Darren, you really are a tremendous listener. Your friendships and relationships resonate with me and remind me of my relationship with my best friend who I met randomly on the streets of Seoul almost 18 years ago. She's still my best friend. It's awesome seeing the tender mutual respect you have for each other - beyond the goofy fun times you have gifted us through your shenanigans. I love it.
This was really cool and I will be looking forward to the next one. Props to Phoebe for talking about her struggles in the past and continued strength with the move to Queensland.

She is so going to be missed. It was awesome she opened up, so many people go through it thinking they're alone. Looking back that age is nothing but a blink of an eye in time, but what an impact. Can't say it gets any easier, but it's a hellova ride!

Phoebe I don't know if you are going to read this, but incase you do, I just wanted to say that it was interesting listening to you talk about overcoming life's challenges. I've never had a partner in my life (I'm 26). Hearing you mention that you've gone through something similar and still finding love at a later age, gives me hope that I can do it to. I'm thankful that you had the courage to share. Don't let the negative commenters get you down. There are still nice people on the internet. :)
Wow! Amazing podCARst! So sad the party couldn't happen! I feel like the more we say "see you on...", the more likely it is to not happen. So sad that she won't be around as much. Hope you'll visit her at some point to get some news, or at least videocall her. Piper + Phoebe would probably be lots of fun (content). Hope they actually hang out. Wow misleading title! Phoebe is not a real Alcoholic or Drug Addict .If you are a real Alcoholic you have no will power to stop and you cannot drink socially again. As for the drugs you just stopped on your own , it was a bad habit obviously not a full blown addiction. To reduce or regulate is not a cure for addiction or alcoholism. No disrespect intended.
