Another FANTASTIC reaction. What makes this already amazing performance more impressive, The PHENOMENAL, So Hyang, IS NOT well here. Some time prior to this event, she was released from the hospital, still recovering from one of her numerous bouts with pneumonia (eight times between 2016 - 2020). Her physicians advised her to cancel, to not talk, and to just rest. So Hyang did not want to disappoint the audience. Furthermore, she believed her singing career was over and decided to sing one last time. After the event, So Hyang was readmitted to the hospital. She disappeared from public singing for nearly two years. Upon her return, she has proven her technique is ROCK SOLID. She recently turned 45 years old. Her voice is better than ever. Her range is still ridiculous, and her breath control remains insane.
I distinctly remember the first time I watched this performance. I’m not someone who ever cries at music, at least not until I watched this performance. Little did I know at the time how sick she had been with pneumonia. That makes this even more incredible. What I love now, is watching someone new who appreciates her as much as I do. Thank you for all of your great support.

It just BLOWS ME AWAY how she was able to perform these songs at such a high level when understanding her health challenges. I remember when I first started reacting to her and found about her health challenges afterwards I couldn't believe it! I have nothing but great admiration for people like SO Hyang who continues to push through what they enjoy do to even if their circumstance makes it challenging for them to do so!!

She did this performance believing it would be her last, after her pnemonia cases in a row. Ironicaly this was the performance that drove her back to us 2 years later, as the composer of this song (Josh Groban) was looking for her to congratulate her for her rendition and performance on his song. That among other things, gave her the confidence to return to us more mature for her golden age.
U should react to her "Arirang alone" of 2015 version if u haven't yet. Arirang alone and Bridge over troubled water are two most reacted songs from her.
Yeah, she is amazing. This stage was just unbelievable. Original version, IL Divo version, and this version make me so emotional as always. I mean this was a great song. I really loved it.
