🍊 My 2024 word of the year is "intentionality", which you mentioned a lot in this video! This year I felt that I let so much time pass me by, spending it scrolling endlessly watching 'shorts' on my phone, scrolling on social media, watching television, etc. I constantly felt as though there weren't enough hours in the day to do the things I want to do to better myself, when in reality I wasn't being intentional with how I spent my time, and my "5 minute breaks" often became hours. The goal is to be more intentional with my time to achieve a better balance with work, my health, and my relationships ❤

Favorite book from this year is Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend by Matthew Dicks! It’s about a young boy on the spectrum who has an imaginary friend whom helps him out of a terrible situation. So so good and brought me to tears at the end!

🍊 I like how you’re talking about less goals because I have made so many goals and then couldn’t stick to the drastic chance every year. This year I decided to make just a few goals and make them a little more general. For example my fitness goal is just consistency instead of a weight loss number. Happy new year Ava!
