watching ava’s vlogs is like a breathe of fresh air
Here’s a tip for matcha! (I’m a barista of 3 years😊) When you whisk matcha, avoid using circular fast motions. The bamboo whisk is not meant to be used at a normal cooking whisk. Try back and forth intentional movements, in the shapes of the letters L or W. I’m assuming you boil the water before you add the matcha powder, so try adding the syrup & matcha to the bottom of your cup (or in a separate cup) and mixing those together. The syrup will blend more seamlessly into the warm matcha. Then add milk and mix it with the sweetened matcha. Then add ICE!
It doesn’t seem like the order matters, but it makes a huge difference. I use a scale to weigh out my matcha, milk, and syrup so it’s the same every time. I love matcha and the act of making it because it’s a super intentional way to start my day 🥰
Also idk what kind of matcha that one you mentioned is, but I usually go for “ceremonial grade”. This is higher quality. The history of matcha has Buddhist roots, you should totally look into it(-:
