Why I dress as a Regency gentleman... everyday of my life - BBC News

- Zack MacLeod Pinsent dresses as a British Regency gentleman every day, saying that the clothing is a "huge confidence builder".
He ceremoniously burned his last pair of jeans when he was 14-years-old and hasn't looked back since.
He's a tailor and has found a market for clients wanting historical pieces overseas.

@Earth Hub it’s clear you a kid “it’s gay” maybe someday you’ll realise how the world works
@Earth Hub you do have a point though fashionable men and men who pay more attention looking after themselves are more likely to gay
@Earth Hub exactly what I thought! It’s not normal to be wanting to dress like that. He’s probably channeling certain problems he’s got into them weird ass clothes. Dead ass.
“I’m men’s fashion there is not enough flamboyance or color.” Absolutely agree.
Also good to know that it wasn't always the case, there were times when the reverse was true. High heels were invented for men for instance. Dresses, makeup, wigs, colourful clothing and jewelry all were popular for men once, in many parts of the world they still are. Now these cultures wouldn't describe their men's wear as dresses, but a similar garment designed in western society would certainly be seen as such.
While I don't feel a particular urgency to wear a dress myself, certainly there's a whole world of possibilities between that and a black potato sack. I'd like to see way more of that.
That is so hot. We need to go back to a time when fashion had dignity and grace.
