Well both Rihanna and X Ambassador do sound full of emotion, and I love them both. I prefer X Ambassador because I love the guitar playing (I fell in love with the beginning), plus playing a guitar feels more natural.

Sam (the lead singer of X Ambassadors) wrote the song. My question was if they recorded this version as the demo, which Rihanna heard, then she decided to make her own version and released it.
In the description it briefly mentions that Rihanna's recorded version is the original. Sam collaborated and was a co-writer for her song. They recorded this one afterwards. It's much better than Rihanna's in my opinion, though.
