- Puglia is an amazing region, also called the Italian Maldives. Salento, in particular, is an area packed with the best beaches you will ever see. Spectacular faraglioni (just like in Capri!), turquoise water, romantic sunsets to enjoy your getaway in Italy: let's see what you should expect from a trip to Salento, from a local's point of view!
Here you can also find an overview on Salento: www.travellingdany.com/puglia...
Can’t wait to go next week!
You’ll have lots of fun! Enjoy your trip to Puglia and eat lots of delicious food!
Looks like a great place for a cool down dip in the ocean in warm Italian summer period.
It's not ocean, it's the Mediterranean sea, so it's warmer :)
Italy looks so beautiful! Glad to see some of the beaches are free. I absolutely love the color of the ocean and the views of the rocks.
Actually many beaches in the South are free!
What an awesome coastline. I love the hole in the cliff at 0:07! The turquoise water is so inviting. I can't believe it's actually that colour! Amazing :)
It's one of the few holes like this in Europe! And there are so many legends about it!
Haven't planned trip there yet, but visiting Puglia and it's beaches has been in my bucketlist since long.. though I am not too much of a beach person, but if the views are that great I guess one can't miss it.. :)
In Puglia, especially the off the beaten path areas, beaches are awesome and food is mouthwatering! Besides, it's way cheaper than many other touristy places in Italy so I think the pros outweight the cons :D
Very nice Video 👍
Thank you, I'm glad you like it!
Wow! That is just stunning! I love the arched rock formation in the background at the beach. It looks like it would make for the perfect day.
Oh yes, it's like swimming into a paradise location!
This makes me miss summer, Europe and the ocean! Thanks for sharing this beautiful beach. I always love a good beach video!
Puglia is definitely one of those off the beaten path places in Italy people should visit more :)
Wow, this looks beautiful! We have never been to the south of Italy but it is on our list for future trips. You're are probably right about the sunsets, no doubt they are beautiful! Thanks for sharing
We're lucky enough to live in the South and we can definitely tell you that it's worth visiting!
That water color is stunning! What an awesome area to explore, thanks for sharing!
Oh yes! Puglia is amazing if you love the sea, almost surreal if you think of it!
This looks so beautiful! We wanna swim in these seas!
Puglia is also called the Italian Maldives/Caribbean: the water is amazing and it's cheaper than many other most famous destinations!
That water looks amazing! I didn't know this was called the Italian Maldives, but I can see why :)
Haha right? And it's not even very much expensive if compared to other places in Italy!
I'll be there soon
Oh wow that's awesome! The weather right now is amazing!
Very beautiful - thanks for sharing. I hit the big red button :-)
Oh gosh, thank you so much! Have you been to Puglia already?
@@TravellingDany I had never heard of this place
It's off the beaten path, but Italians love it so it's usually a popular summer destination here :)
I can't get over the color of that water! You really don't need any photoshop or editing at all!!
Nah, it's awesome just the way it is!
Incredible water! Easily comparable to the Bahamas!! All of your video locations are spectacular.
Oh thank you! And yes, Puglia region is less famous abroad (everyone thinks of Florence or Rome) but in Italy it's pretty famous because they have amazing waters!
I have always been visiting the nortern-eastern beaches so now im shocked what’s on the south and i didnt even know about it!
Visit the South of Italy, you'll fall in love immediately! :D
Ooohhhh I want to go to this Italian Maldives location!! Do you know why the water is so blue? We just went to Banff and they have lakes that are the same turquoise color and it's because it comes from glacier water. Wondered why for this location :)
I think it's because it's a very clean stretch of Mediterranean sea. The water is also always pretty warm, even if the area can be pretty windy!
Another great video. Looks a lot like Portugal. Thank you for the videos. Will sub to the channel. Check ours also! Cheers
It does, you're right! The food is pretty different, and this is a part of Italy we wish people would consider more often. :) Everyone stops in Rome and thinks they've seen the South :)
