As per Waterloo EDC, Waterloo region is expected to grow 33% by 2031- prices in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge are still a lot more affordable than the GTA. A diverse and thriving community to live, work and raise a family! Great video btw!

Saint John is a polluted place and there is a reason why it is one of the least sought after places for Canadians to live. It has a pulp mill and the largest oil refinery in the country. Also one of the hardest place to retain youth in the workplace not to mention has one of the lowest retention rates for newcomers.

@@devajyotsingha6496 I have seen quite a few new immigrants who emigrated to Saskatchewan, Alberta or Manitoba and eventually moved to Ontario as it is so diverse, immigrant friendly and has an abundance of opportunities. As far as housing is concerned, Waterloo region, Windsor, Kincardine are still within reach as opposed to Brampton, Mississauga or Toronto.

Edmonton is deadmonton. Nothing much to do beyond work after a point in time. I lived there for 11 years, despite people being warm and affectionate the city is still dead.
Calgary - economy too cyclical. Lived there for 3 years too.

Buyers beware - The worst mistake of your life - Do not worship homeowner ship and do not buy a home in Canada. Debt to buy a home in Canada is simply not justified. USA - Yes, it is still affordable but Canada - a strict no.

Thanks for the informative video. Being in Toronto, I envy places like Edmonton. Is there any comparison of the weather of these places? Availability of Indian food in these cities? If Edmonton is too cold around the year and I don't get Indian food, then it may not be a wise decision to move there.

Hello Vijay thanks for the feedback. To answer your question, Edmonton can get a bit colder in winters compared to Toronto. Edmonton does have a fairly large Indian community as well so finding Indian food won't be a problem..

Having been born in Saint John it's a little pet peeve when people get it incorrect. And I do like your presentation of topics, very easy to understand. Thank you...

Real estate prices are falling and market is going back to normal, conditions are back and if this persists, I won't be afraid to call it a buyer's market, right now looks more like a balanced market to me. Good time to buy if you can ride out the interest rates for the short term.
