I do customer service, admin and marketing for a hair company and let me tell you, people want these wigs! Once your clients find you, they want them units and they want them nowwww lol. Great luck ladies! Keep pushing.
You are so right. I think the issue is women realize human hair wigs are the best investment over the long run and the look more natural. Many women rotate the cheap ...but nice synthectic wigs and save the human hair wigs for special occasions. I love human hair wigs. Easier to style and curl. And the hair doesn't always have to cost $300. But of course the better hair does last longer. Also it's difficult to find good human hair wigs on websites. A lot of junk out there. And the nicer wigs are usually sold out. You just gave me an idea. I am a writer. How did you get started in marketing for hair companies if you don't mind me asking. Thsnks and have a blessed day.
@@gabrielle9958 Yes. That’s very true. I love human hair units because of the versatility and longevity. I’m a freelance marketer and have a variety of clients. This hair client in particular, I actually used to work for them at a marketing agency and they started an additional venture. They reached out to me when they saw that i was freelancing. What type of writing do you do?
@@Naswillshine I currently write for a women's empowerment blog. Some topics are Women in Leadership, Finances, etc. But with the hair industry being so lucrative, I am starting to think this might be a good niche topic for me as well. Thanks.

I have a wig business and I make my wigs using the pre order method usually, I recently tried letting my vendors custom make my units and I just customize them I tried it with like 4 bob styles and it wasn’t bad at all they even put my wig tags and combs in for me and can make them on dome caps in any size I needed not like the premade stock size…only down side was they construct the wigs single wefts and I construct my by doubling so wig reconstructions weren’t really something I could do like with the ones I construct myself.. my customer‘s like that they’re able to have different wig services that make the wigs last longer .. The services become limited when it’s not a wig that I have actually constructed but definitely a great thing for beginner businesses or ones who don’t offer services

I have a wig business and I had to tell myself get up and promote your brand. I got to get into playing with the hair and starting just styling and styling and taking pic and this video just help me . I got the product just have to want it more so that’s what I’m going to do. Keep up the good work ladies. My wig maker moved out if state. Nothing like a custom wig. About to order 2. Sick of how synthetic wigs mat. And like being able to throw rollers in my unit. Custom cost more but it's worth it.

It really is, and if it’s still left order I would just give the wig a new design and repost it on the site, that most the time works.

That's the million dollar question. Half the stuff out there get's bad reviews for not shipping what was ordered. Bad density. Claiming the item is out of stock and not returning funds, but making folks order poor quality replacements. The wig companies haven't figured it out yet. And the few that do sell good wigs can't keep them in stock. That's why folks are turning to custom wigs. It's a gold mine for all you ladies doing it. Just gotta know how to market your services.
Any advice for selling ready to ship with no experience in customization?
I currently sell wigs, I just make them and post them to Facebook and that works for me, but I’m working on my website. I find that factory made wigs are just not as full as handmade/machine made wigs. Idk, maybe I just haven’t found the right vendor. I really like my vendors hair tho, im boutta get on that tho, I spend way too much money with them 🙄😂
Girl you 100% right. They not as full as hand made or sewing machine lol. My vendors hair is so full so imma make them quick on a sewing machine.

What cap size do you get ?
I normally get a medium which is 22-22.5 head but sometimes I mix it up and get smalls and mediums
Can somebody answer this question? Do most human hair wigs/bundles contain nits? I was told it is quite common. Is this to expected? I ordered a human hair wig and it had a few. Grossed me out. In the past I've ordered and used cheap Outre human hair. Never had that problem. Thanks.
