Am I a mobile gamer now
Yes.
The mobile game king.
perhaps
Ultra rad gamer
No, you're a YYWTGRSHYGNLSYCT gamer now.
the entire chat uprising when Dan said he has never even HEARD of subway surfers was possibly the most vicious part of the stream
Wait WHAT?!
What
He's old. Of course an octogenarian doesn't know about the sandwich fast food chain surferz, so would you expect someone in his age to know about it?
He WHAT?
*What*
The reason RT is so good at the car game is because he used to be called the Drift King back in college.
Wasn't that CallMeKevin?
Edit: Welp, I was trying to set up a punchline for someone else. Sadly, the joke didn't work out
Edit 2: The replies further down do put a smile on my face
@@bobthebox2993nah definitely RT
WOW! They should call this guy RT Game! because he sure knows how to play RT Game!
@@bobthebox2993you mean the guy that got hit by Dan's car in that last level, maybe
keyword: "used to"
my fav thing about this game is surely that the 'bad game ads' have pissed off so many people they don’t need to make any to advertise it. players will find and play it just for that. genius
All the mobile game devs have already paid for their ad campaigns
If they make an ad for this game people will probably just assume it's like all the others
@@sweetaplle I legitimately bypassed this vid the first few times it showed up bc I recognized the look of a shitty mobile game and thought it was an ad. It took it popping up for like the 5th time in my feed for me to realize 'wait, this is an RT vid, not a real ad'
@@lzrshark617 same! I skipped the video so many times because of the thumbnail and then actually looked at who posted it like the 7th time it showed up and realised why it keeps popping up
Too bad it's a bit overpriced, I'd get it at a sale but as it is now, I'll pass.
Just the title alone sells the game completely for me. 10/10, the people who made this deserve legitimately all the money they can get.
What's even Wacker is it's from the reroll katamari team.
If you liked that title, you should try TRIHAYWBFRFYH
@@isaiahkern9434 and the people behind the klonoa remakes
@@isaiahkern9434 damn that's cool i guess
They saw mobile ads and went "ya know what, fuck it, let's make these but actually good."
This is a cool ass concept, play the fake mobile ad game without supporting the horrible ads and company’s
I think the Hero Rescue games were inspired specifically by the fake pin-pull game ads. "Oh, youtube it, let's make this an actual game that actually exists." And it's... exactly the kind of game you'd expect it to be, albeit with the usual obligatory monetization bullyoutube. Still perfectly playable without spending anything.
Some of them look like legitimate fun and I would potential play them if the advertising wasn’t horrendous.
*companies
@@Diphenhydra But of course the one that already looks like boring crap then went on to call their own ads cringe because they "show an awesome game but when you download it, it sucks". And apparently think we don't realise it's the same game that ad is for.
Some chinese or indian outsourcing studio made these games and they'll probably never even find out that this game exists
I love how everything in this game is just mildly inconvenient. There’s no way to adjust the controls. You have to manually select each level. You have to use the arrow keys in some levels instead of WASD.
I do wish they'd made a quality version instead of keeping it as low effort as the ads, even if that is funnier for the joke
@@snowfloofcathugYeah, an ironically bad game is still a bad game
Endless constant popups
Newgrounds simulator
The other infuriating thing is that the UI outside of the games seems to be similar to other Sakurai-like games but with the font of Warioware: Get It Together
The fun thing about this is that they could always make a sequel/DLC/update with real versions of other horrible fake mobile game ads
There are _so many,_ this doesn't even scratch the surface I'd imagine. Heck, that color sorting game is an actual good game you can get! It's not even a fake ad!
same, I played it so much that the tetris effect started to kick in and it haunted my sleep
I've played enough sorting bottle puzzles in real video games to hate that one
The color sorting game is real, buuuut a lot of mobile ads have it without it actually being in the game
The version I have is called Ball Sort and I got to level 20 000 a long time ago and stopped playing, lol (think it was some update that made gimmick levels appear that just weren't fun at all, can't remember why)
I distinctly recall a while ago getting pushed ads that show someone trying to figure out how to untangle a series of physics-based ropes, which felt very obviously like one of these fake games, but it was literally advertising THAT GAME. Wild ride. Got boring after an hour though
What would REALLY make this the game ever is if they had the boyfriend rejecting the girl for being covered in mud then instead of helping her you burn her hair with a curling iron.
*Edit: y’all I’m in fucking _TEARS_ with the replies why didn’t I think of the gardenscapes & royal match ads they’re so good omg💀💀
Absolutely!
Also the game where the divorced mother is freezing to death in a cabin cause you tried to use a hammer to fix a broken window.
We’re missing the iconic “Oh no!”
Yes
And the weird obsession of farts
Imagine having Katamari Reroll devs who have randomly been stumbling around youtube seeing those and getting so frustrated, that they just straight up decided to make a full on game about it.
You think you're better than those people in the ads. Until you played them yourself. Then realised you got played by the ads.
But at least it's not constantly baiting you to buy microtransactions.
@@MegamanXfan21xx Yep. At least this one's a one-time payment.
Honestly they should’ve had the red circle that said “FAIL!” on it whenever you fail the game
Seeing RT try to move the cars at the perfect trajectory to hit the person with zero chance to miss was painful. job well done
RT went from torturing civilizations he built from the ground (poop volcano), to torturing his stream by making them watch the parking lot mini game.
Not me forgetting what this game was called then RT playing it. Thank u RT.
But it's such an easy name to remember! Especially with the acronym trick.
yeah very easy and helpful sounding name
How can you forget such a memorable name as YYWTGRSHYGNLSYCT?
@@yustinj.3910correction: YYWTGRSHYGNLSYCT
The original ads could only market a fake game. Because, they were too afraid to actually create it, and live up to the responsibility of owning the absolute pinnacle of gaming. It’s great to see people challenging expectations, and making the finest products.
Really though, this was a funny vid.
For those that didn’t see the stream Dan was on parking game for quite some time. I couldn’t here nothing but beeps constantly I felt my mind going insane
you know what's really funny? these games look like they had more love and care put into them than the mobile ad games they're parodying actually would have if they were real.
You want to know something fuuny as well?
*This was made by the Earth Defence Force people.*
Isn't that just the publisher? Looking at Steam the developer seems to be known for Katamari Reroll@@egomegayolo4127
@@egomegayolo4127This comment is misleading: this game is published under D3, who publish the EDF games, this title's developers are Monkeycraft, the team behind the Katamari and Klonoa remakes
@@mariopikaman1 Right, my bad. Wrong choice of words and a lack of research
It's a shame that the Subway Surfers panic didn't make it into the video. I've never seen the chat more freaked out before.
I can’t believe rt informed us that it is he who the mobile companies hire to play their fake games for their ads
I love Dan spending like 10 minutes on the parking puzzle, perfectly timing every vehicle to dodge the knife guys, just to make it to the end and send the vehicles at the worst possible time and fail
I really love that if you ever fail horribly in one of these challenges, the original developers can just take the video and put it on their next ad.
all i remember from this stream was the never ending beeps
oh god
Shame RTGame didnt put the full game title in the video title
but it is in the description
And at both the start and end of the video
100 character limit for video titles. It... _might_ fit, barely, but he wouldn't have been able to fit anything else coherent in there.
It'd fit it he used the acronym! YYW"TG"R?SHYG!NLSYCT!
The archive has the acronym and it looks like they had a brain aneurysm in the middle of titling it
Imagine if someone just took recordings of this video and posted them as game ads
Oh God Oh No
They do that when it comes to stick Alan beck (The animator vs anination guy)
I can totally see them doing that
@@star22sally67 Nooo💀💀
@@aturchomicz821 yes it sucks
One of the funniest concepts for a game honestly
Dan's watched paint dry and played an entire game about rubber ducks... but *THIS* is where chat drew the line? Really? Who are you anymore, Chat.
there was tooo much action for Chat to comprehend.
Chat is the 99% in the ads
Then you get those adds with the dude saying "I've been paid to tell you to play this game, but DON'T play this game". I just sit there and think "okay then, I wont"
Not only do I have those scam ads. I think my favorite is Hero Wars like their ads are super sexual and are most likely fake and then also have an ad talking about "do you hate ads for game and the games are nothing like that"
i've always wanted to see these games played correctly but i didn't want to do it myself. thanks RT
Someone saw a mobile game add and just snapped. They just made the game simply out of spite
"A"... They have been plaguing YT for forever.
@@Lenariet I may be stupid...
YYWTGRSHYGNLSYCT is my favorite game! I'm so glad I could watch RT play it for us :)
This is one situation where having japanese-style acronyms for the english language would be really handy
Honestly, “Those Games” might be a nice abbreviation in English, but that title is basically like a light novel title and would be privy to Japanese title shortening.
The light novel type name really sells it for me
I remember playing that car sorting game back on a flash games website. It was pretty fun but I could never finish it because there wasn't a save feature.
fairly sure there were a couple flash versions over the years, that game has been around a looong time i remember having a non-flash shareware version that was win 95/3.1 compatible that was flat colors with an outline like something drawn in Paint that made the annoying beep every time you made a move as well.
I literally had that game physically as a brain teaser. It’s called Rush Hour and you need to get the taxi out of the jam. It was really fun with all the little plastic trucks.
Now we wait for someone to make a game where you can play those absolutely insane video ads for games like going from level 1 thug to level 35 boss or choosing to defend against the horde with your bro instead of riding away with the damsel. As well as those totally CZcams friendly parts.
I genuinely love the fact that this is a game that was made. I always thought those ads looked more fun than the games themselves...
Ah yes, YYWTGRSHYGNLSYCT, my favourite video game that has the acronym for the sound you make while sneezing
I love that you can tell this was made by devs who are just as sick of these ads as we are.
Look at how long it takes to transition between levels. That’s professional spite right there.
About damn time there’s a game that’s actually pull the pin and not one that says it is but ends up being completely unrelated.
*Rt when there is an elderly man directly in front of his car* : “Ok we gotta go now”
Actually the pin pull one has a hunred levels, not just 50, also if you comlete all the levels in one game, there is a speedrun type mode
If only this game had something like those insane project makeover ads or the one where you eat or work out.
The title of the game having changing fonts, sizes, and colors made me think I was having a stroke
8:11 if anyone is interested in a sorting game like this, there are actually quite a few mobile games that are fairly decent. Been playing Water Sort Puzzle for a few years and genuinely a fun way to kill time - they start off really easy but some of the higher levels are actually kinda challenging
I can't decide what fake games I'd most want to personally add. The ones involving that girl getting cucked by her boyfriend because she's covered in a thick layer of mud, and the fake player chooses a blow dryer which is somehow not only wrong but burns all her hair off. Or the ones involving the explorer girl who gets bodied by a higher level player, falls off a cliff, then finds a dragon egg and does about 600 tasks over the course of 30 seconds and wins the fucking world. Or the ones where a ripoff of the Burger King is put in a weirdly disturbing damsel-in-distress situation that utilizes suspiciously realistic fluid simulations, that you have to fix with the power of match 3. There are just so many choices!
I prefer those totally realistic ads where the guy starts some random convo with his future wife in a bar or something about these badass champion unlocks whatever he has... that's like 100% accurate real life flirting, truly incredible how these ads get that so right.
Honestly, the dragon egg one sounds like a good concept
The worst part about these ads is that people who keep complaining about them don't realize they're actually helping the games grow, which is exactly what these purposely-dumbfound ads were obviously made for.
My understanding is that the ads typically are typically for games that don’t even resemble what is depicted? So I’m not sure that talking about the ads generally really helps the advertisers
@@drdca8263The point of the ads is to attract at least a few customers who’re going to end up sinking a ludicrous amount of money into their games. If you spread the word of a game’s ad, maybe a small slice of the people who see it will download it, and maybe a small amount of those people will end up in a micro transaction loop.
Any publicity is good publicity, as they say.
@@drdca8263often (or at least in the case of evony) the apps DO have the gameplay depicted in the ads, but it's either such a small part of the app or so unplayably buggy that it's not a good representation.
The ads are quite literally never anything like the game, nobody has any idea where these stemmed from we just know it was to a game completely unrelated to the ad.
Watching rt with the cars reminds us all that his timing is impeccable
I can say from PERSONAL experience that the color one actually does get hard and challenging!
I feel that the game should’ve gone with the warioware style route.
the menus are just warioware gold
I liked it when RT waited for the people to walk infront of the car before driving so there was absolutly no way they could dodge :)))
Just watching him never realize that you can move the cars up to closer spots as long as you still have some in the way...
This game idea is freaking GENIUS
WOW! They should call this guy RT Game! because he sure knows how to play RT Game!
The ogre one isn't friendly, he's just indiscriminate
RT sending those cars forward right when the person is literally in front of them never fails to make me sad lmao
I feel like the Hero Wars number mechanic is like, ever so slightly off from actually being an interesting puzzle that does not just instantly solve itself. Like, maybe the enemy AI should do the same thing so that you have to think about how you're gonna beat them when they grow stronger every turn. Or maybe they need to distinguish health from max health and introduce a healing mechanic.
Like, just having one number that is path independent (and therefore doesn't produce a traveling salesmen problem), is not quite good enough as a mechanic.
I hope they continue to add onto this game and ad some of those merge puzzle games, or the match 3 puzzles, or like the ones where you need to repair a room using the correct tools, etc there are so many fake ads they could use to make levels out of
I can see this game having a ‘WarioWare’ mode where you play different games in quick succession and see how fast you can clear them
The sad thing about this is that I have half these games downloaded on my phone
I can't wait to see you fail at the easiest thing ever and have a message on screen that says "Only 1% of people can complete this level!!!"
Don't forget that we were all so collectively worried for Dan that he switched to playing Super Auto Pets instead
The main thing I don’t like about this is that it has levels rather than just continuously going. The number tower games are not just small levels like there. . .
I'm a little disappointed that the Gotcha doesn't offer barely legally distinct costumes for the stickpeople. That'd really add to the vibe
This scratches the brain
I mean I will say there are so many of the color lab style games already on the play store to the point where I am uncertain if it should actually be in this collection. (They also aren't the worst puzzles ever, they can get challenging)
those adverts have trained my mind to be patience to the point I skip frustration
I remember watching this stream with a headache and questioned my existence with all the beeping
I always needed to see this, thank you funny game man
There was actually a cool board game based on that car concept, it was called "rush hour" I think. The idea was you'd have a grid, and cards telling you how to set up each level.
The bit about the sound you make when sneezing killed me. Thats actually accurate XD
For those who weren’t there, he eventually gave up and played Super Auto Pets instead
Thank you for doing this RTGames, very cool.
The bravery RT goes through to create content for us is unparalleled.
Unironically, this game presents so much value compared to the real ones since it has ALL the ad games in one.
Watching an ad every 15 seconds is bad, but over 30 separate apps? Why do people do that to themselves?
The game concept sold me on it when I first heard about it and I can say some of the later stages can be pretty challenging.
I know that this is a game that doesnt lie about what it has, its still infuriating for some reason lol
Based on CallMeKevin's story, on the brightside RT has set so many pedestrians up to be future CZcamsrs!
I’m blissfully reminded of this SFM guy who decided to make parodies of these fake mobile ads. And they’re hilarious.
They're missing the battle-runner style ones that are also just a pure "pick the bigger number" game - where you have like, a group of dudes who either shoot or kamikaze into bad guys, and you have to make very tough big brain decisions like "will I get more guys by going through the +50 gate, or the ÷2 gate, hmmm" (and the ad "player" of course always makes the dumbest decision possible).
you are braver than any us marine soldier
I don't think I've ever wishlisted a game so fast.
Is it still wishlisted after watching the video?
@@tacotuttle Yes - I'm a basic bitch that likes these sorts of dumb logic puzzle games. XD
I looked for it on the mobile store. It was even a top search
So the Katamari Reroll team were fed up of seeing all those fake game adverts and decided to make the games themselves. Pretty based.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Natasha, an Underworld doctor. Feeling sick?"
this game's a real brainteaser for those that tried putting the square in the circle hole
This is the single funniest concept for a game I've ever seen in my life. And the title is a wonderful cherry on top😂
It's so cool someone actually put in the effort to make all these games!
I get ad's for an uno like game where you think you are winning. Then, they have all +4's. Additionally, i get this weird makeover game where she is covered in mud.
Sometimes I actually AM interested in playing the fake game so this gives me an actual way!
The tower game isn't authentic, it's missing the overly sexualized stick women with boobs
I've always wanted to make/someone to make this game, so glad to see it is a reality
Imagine if this game got a mobile port with no ads or microtransactions(just being paid upfront like the PC version). Just to stick it to those money vacuum mobile games even more
This feels like the equivalent of hating games about fishing but loving games that have a fishing minigame.
I cant believe RT swore within the first 15 seconds of the video. How extremely uncouth of him. Frankly, he ought to be completely demonetized.
We need a
- Option Decision (ex. Gardenscapes, Idle Mansion somethin)
- Territory Wars (ex. Call of (insert title), Empire, Lords Mobile)
- Grow it Up (ex. Fishdom)
It feels like I've sneezed out all of my IQ.
I’ve played this one, and while it’s pretty fun, Cash Run’s isometric angle makes it a genuine headache to play. It’s so annoying trying to figure out how far away I am from an obstacle.
And Parking Lot would be peak if it didn’t have those stupid morons walking around. So frustrating.
I like how the levels are all rated by IQ and the maximum IQ rating is 45, lol.
he wasn't lying, I sure did buy the game.
The best game to give to someone who doesn't like "those games", is generally not thankful for gifts and hates clearing stuff
