5 Things I LOVE About My Tuned BMW 135i 1 Year Later!

- This is 5 things I love about my 135i a year later. This BMW has so much to offer!
1- The N55 engine is reliable, tunable and sounds so good! listen in for a sound clip.
2- The seating/drivers position is spot on. You sit down low in the car. You have good visibility. The thick steering wheel feels very quality. You have great pedal feel and the steering is not electric! Which means you have good connection with the road unlike a lot of newer BMWs.
3- The car is small and easy to park anywhere. Now for those with lots of tools and machinery this car may not fit your lifestyle.
4- The audio quality with the Harmon Kardon sound system is WONDERFUL! It sounds so good across all genres of music.
5- The MPG is not too bad. I see almost 30mpg on the freeway! That makes this a great road trip car. On the streets its less unfortunately (probably due to my driving style) I'm seeing 17-18mpg.
All-in-all if you can get your hands on a manual 135i or a DCT one, I would highly recommend it! - Auta a dopravní prostředky
In terms of reliability you can expect to change coils/ and spark plugs more often on a tuned car. My concern for reliability between n54/n55 is coolant leaks, valve cover leaks, oil pan leaks…ect. I didn’t see how it improved on the n55. So I picked the n54 to squeeze a little more bang for buck. Just my opinion.
To each their own man, if the N54 makes you happy, then 100% get that platform and don't let anyone convince you otherwise 👍
This was my first underrated BMW 135i N55 With a DCT tranny, now this car once i added a few upgrades and mods, plus a tune from MHD to stage 2, it became a completely different monster of a car, i mean i was killing everyone that beat me before and was beating stock 340is, i mean the ots tune added at least 00hp plus over 150 pounds of torque and that my friend put my car in a a whole different class level, it had the N55, i added a BM intake and the car was magical and i just didn't want to mess it up and add more power or parts without tunes to mess up the car, i mean the car was beating everything and anything next to me including the older Honda NSX like water bro, this car was eating 6.0 Pontiac GTOs like getting away from farts, i beat a GNX on take off then he started to creep up in like 135mhp but then my car just boosted its ass off and shitted on it and i beat it by two or a bus and let me tell you thats another reason i must get a Grand National, also a mercedes c43 awd from take off, it was the hardest race i had but you have to understand my cars motor blew and was rebuilt by the warranty and the extra mods and tune to it, also my car handle better with the coil overs the car came with, i only had that car for two months and it was a dream car and i wish i still had it, i don't have it because this fucking demon suicidal problemed bastard decided to choose me for the taking of his life and it almost took mine, yes i have nerve issues among other stuff, because i couldn't get away from it, imagine you cruising going 45 to 50 on a 35 and a bastard as this prick just drives in front of you with no breaks coming down a hill while you had a car racing you on the left, i really had no way out but to eiter slam into the car i was about to bust his ass or try avoiding this demon old bastard with the age of 90 i think and was at the precipice of dying and chose me some way some how to end his shitty life and i hope he died and went to hell for what he put me thru, so yea thats my story behind my rebuilt 135i with brand new turbos and everything that made it count plus the tune, the car was unbeatable and had slicks in the back, i'm so mad as till this day besides because that was my favorite car besides the Grand National before that years before, but i think of this car and i would appreciate it so much right now you just don't know, so please love your cars and in a light to light street or avenue do not race especially if it had cross streets and nothing you can do if a car breaks the law and does what was done to me, good luck to you guys and to my ex BMW 135i i love you man and wish you were still with me, this mite not make any sense for many of you but for me it was my world.

We’re 350 crank bro. I have dyno results on my (used to be) stage 2+ 135i t prove it. We’re 317 to the wheels before big turbo.

@@inteljumperxx picked it up the 135i on Sunday for $3500 :) got it not running. Was a super good deal though, the previous owner had it modded to 500whp so once I get it running again it's gonna be a monster. 100k miles as well
Have a 2011 125i convertible love it make good power with a race chip tuner still mid 20s mpg on hwy

I have a 2013 6-speed, 40K miles, and first bought the MHD tune with a decent improvement. Then I bought a twisted tuning tune, and made a WORLD of a difference. The stock charge pipe broke about 2 months after I got it but covered under CarMax warranty. Have you tried other tunes?
I love CarMax's warranty they fix everything haha. And the only other tune I've tried was on my n54 335i and I had a world of issues. As soon as I removed the tune all the issues went away. My thought was to stick with MHD for now and either go pro-tune on a dyno or just upgrade and get an m4. But I'll check out twisted tuning, never heard of the them 👍
@@boostedbijan What problems did you have after your tune? Just curious, so I know what to keep an eye out for. I've got a VRSF Charge Pipe and VMIC I'm going to install. Do you recommend other mods at 44K Miles?
My bro loves his as well but little by little started having issues the injectors are leaking or one is so he took it in fo a four thousand dollar repair wich he was willing but the shop said one of his plugs are seezed into head and refuse to work on it and the head would be 7k through them he also had to replace the fuel pumps but the head is more than he owes on the car he’s so sad to get rid of it I’m doing my best today to look up ways to fix so he can keep it he can pay but also could trade in for so😊different but as this car is a desert car so it looks Beltane new point is you have any thoughts that could help me fix cuz if he pays it off and gets better car and keep it it becomes mine and it’s my dream car at this point I’m getting scrrrwd out of a car in ten years and another in two years my mothers car is supposed to be mine in two years when she gets new one so now I’m not getting crap so if I help fox the 135 I I will keep everything in motion

DCT right? And is the backseat and truck space decent?
Both very nice. Had 4 adults on trips and they were comfortable. Now one friend is 6ft and he rode shotgun because in the backseat his head would touch the roof. But nothing scooting down the seat an inch or two would fix. Seats fold down too so I’ve fit fully assembled tables in that car lol.
