The best part about Polyphia is the tone and the insane harmonics Timmy Hendrix has. Distortion kinda downplays his super clean playing and talent. Just my 2 cents

Herman's playing over Euphoria was actually so tasteful, that use of the whammy bar, sliding into harmonious chord tones, playing sweet notes under Tim's solos, and of course his own killer licks in there too, awesome vibe, very euphoric dudes.
My only problem is that Herman's guitar was NOT in tune, which just drove me insane the entire time.

I think itâs legitimately impossible not to laugh at hermanâs goofy ass comments. Dude has one of the most contagious smiles Iâve ever seen
I love Tim. He really embodies the Slowhand Clapton style of guitar playing and adapted it well to the metal arpeggio runs. His right-hand does a lot of work and the way it glides over the strings during the runs is poetry in motion.
His left hand looks like a glitch a lot of the time. The way it goes from still, to fast movement, to hard stop at a precise position is weird in a cool way
how are clapton and tim similar? genuinely curious i wouldâve never put them together, and i know clapton was called slowhand for his speed but i really never thought of him for his speed
@@mngyuan I don't think he meant speed. I think he meant fluidity and articulation whilst doing what he does. Eric is well known for being precise and looking effortless.
But I do agree, very strange to put these two together. Tim has stated he went through a dad rock phase and learned all the great solos and songs so it's possible at one point he was playing slow hand tunes.

Polyphia has been the last band I saw before the Covid-19 bullshit started.
