I kind of knew Kookielit can't be that trustworthy because she doesn't even pronounce many idols names correctly.
I've wondered if Kookielit is AI read copy. Probably not, but the read style is ... breathless? Un-changing? Monotone? And her Le Sserafim pronunciation was strange.
And Kookielit is basically all 'dark' subject matter. Not much 'joyful' kpop news in that channel.

I read the title and immediately thought of Kookielit. The titles alone can be misleading. Yet, the subscriber number is increasing, while K-Pop Junkie's subscriber number is decreasing.

this video is very comprehensive, respectful and informative. just subscribed. agreed with you on a lot of points here. the topic reminds me of this video by channel called sparkleyeon. the video was about the hyuna scandal, the thumbnail used false information as a hook on the video's thumbnail. i thought it was distasteful.
Goodness, I can't describe how grateful I am for you in making this video not only with sufficient reasoning, but with adequate evidence from verified sources such as research studies! Thank you for this! It makes me happy to see a video like this. 😆 You deserve much more recognition for your hard work, and hopefully with time, the community comes to realize how to get their information more properly than from just fabricated claims not properly backuped by evidence. Thanks for making these video .kpop genre has the most toxic fandom like they find anything offensive and these ktubers are the best at making misleading toxic videos which ignite hate towards certain idols or groups without any real information and these kpoopies willl blindly believe them
These ktubers needs to be sued because they'll not learn their lesson unless they face some consequences

I started with watching kookielit some years ago, but moved on to other creators as I don't like kookielits videos much. It feels very polarizing/ as if their own opinion is coming through way too often for it to be a neutral channel. (and I'm wiritng 'their' because i heard somewhere that it's actually a company/ content farming site with several channels, one other relating to k-drama news apparently. I always wondered how apparently one single person was able to do this much research for all the videos, but of course using Pannchoa in basically all these videos makes it easy...).
I also watch angelina sometimes and she at least makes clear what her opinion is/ if she doesn't know something. Still not the best channel imo, but I like that aspect.
But overall I think KPOPJunkee is also good, he usually waits for all the facts to be there until he talks about a topic in depth.
And I agree with you saying that some things aren't worth reporting on/ get more attention than necessary because they are such small topics. I'm pretty sure it would also be a lot of fun to talk more about lesser known groups (meaning not only nugu, but especially groups who are a bit underrated, they seem to receive very little coverage) in these news videos than mentioning the same few artists in every video and taking apart their every move.

Midnight theories recently said they’ll be taking a bigger focus on nugu and underappreciated groups going forward. They've done deep dives into idol groups and companies in the past and did a lot of coverage of obscure groups last year.
