A little history. Axell raced against my buddy Cody at LL's in 2012. In 250's Axell won with Cody in 3nd. And then Cody won the 450 class.
Axell.......now days , his skills ( and balls! ) on a bike are incredible. So fun to watch.

I am sure if He wanted he could be better than 15th in MX. he obviously has sick bike handling skills AND has the drive to accomplish his goals. It seems like he just wanted to do something different than riding and perfecting riding on tracks 24/7. This is why there is now freestyle BMX vs BMX racing. And “freestyle” or “free ride” in basically every other “extreme sport”. I was never a huge freestyle guy, but Pastrana and the metal mulisha guys deserve some recognition in being inspiration for this kind of riding. Just seems like the sponsors and cinematography (drones, copters) are taking it to a new level

@@richardferrell4362 my friend matt copeland was a C rider who had Axell's bike control and I was an A rider with not as much as my friend....racing is so different than just jumping and nose wheelies. In an old fox racing video JS7 said he couldn't do a nose wheelie and he was murdering people on a 125....Pastrana said he cannot scrub during the Red Bull Straight Rhythm

Personally I think its a cool video but it doesn't feel as epic as Slayground 2. Plus the song is not great. I honestly watch Slay Ground 2 once a month because its just unreal. Hats off to Axel. Glad he is still riding after that crazy accident that destroyed his ankles.

These fellas have a shit attitude when it comes to riders like Gordon Keck, telling him this is what he has to do to be noticed or bothered with ie have a ton of sponsors and a fucking helicopter handy.. lets hope folks don't use their way of thinking when it comes to podcasts and only listen to huge successful operations. Can see how that could be taken out of context and I probly should have worded it differently. It was more so this is the kinda stuff GK47 has to work towards to create his own lane like Axell and TB. I’ve been talking to him personally about it. I can see how it comes across, but I that wasn’t how I wanted it to sound. I’m excited to see what GK47 comes up with!

Undeniably a tremendously talented guy on a dirt bike, but. . . I think all the T&A shots of his girl in his videos is kinda distasteful. My wife’s gotta nice ass too, but I’m not gonna broadcast video shots of it all over the world just to pick up more views or likes.Or whatever else reason he’s got. Lost some respect for the kid for that. But. . . Been around Moto for a long time and he can do things Ive never seen before. Landing a jump into a wheelie, super cool.
