I am talking about Dunk, Parizad, Sang e Mah & Kesi Teri Khudghadzi. No doubt he is a wonderful actor but it is his responsibility as a senior member of industry to avoid promoting such acts. Please raise your voice against this also that even showing a bad person committing suicide is not justified at all.

Yeah, I have been noticing this as well.NI should take more responsibility for his characters.And the way suicide was glamorized in SeM was not done!As Muslims it's haram for us and takes us straight to the hellfire.There is no ifs and buts about this.Suicide is never the solution and it shouldn't be shown as the end of the character's lives.It is glossed over in our dramas and this is really alarming

For me the cast of Mujhey Puar Hua Ta is the main highlight for it. Wahaj & Hania in lead roles is what made me watch the first episode & for sure will make me want to watch more! Deffo agree that it doesn’t have a lot of new things to offer but sometimes a strong cast & the main leads can steal the limelight & make a show really enjoyable. However, having said that one aspect I didn’t like of the first episode was Areeb’s character & the way he was acting. The constant starring at Hania’s character was inappropriate, cringe worthy stalker-type behaviour. Even the scene when Saad’s stares at Maheer it was totally unnecessary, it could of just been for a few seconds which is way more realistic rather then going on for quite some time. On Wahaj’s performance I think it was fine for this first episode, not much scope in this opening one so want to give it a few more episodes before I comment on performances. I’ll be honest Wahaj is actually my favourite actor so seeing him back on screen was great and this is the first drama l watching after months so I did quite enjoy it despite the fact its quite cliche and not really anything out of the box (story wise). So let’s see what the rest unfolds. Just for your information too in case you missed it, Wahaj recently gave an interview (it was an online one not in person) in which he said that his character Saad in MPHT is different to Hamza in Fitoor and by the 4th/5th ep people will realise that. So that is good to know that Wahaj’s character won’t turn into a toxic obsessive lover if he doesn’t end up getting married to Maheer!
MPHT : Cringe is the word for this play. couldn’t believe Wahaj took this up after JBG. There was no chemistry between actors 😤 Hania’s acting was just so weird and ott. she is same as every previous thing. she was supposed to act cute and silly and yet her acting got super annoying and pissed off. she needs to diversify her rondhu roles and dialogue delivery. and Zaviyar ? He can’t act sorry he really really needs to take some acting classes tired of seeing him everywhere and pure nepo product. Wahaj my boy definable deserved better Ahhh !
100% agree with everything. im die hard fan of hania but this just wasnt it. I just dont know why they chose this script. Maybe ill find out later, but for now i find all this boys staring at hania so awkward and creepy. And i did not like zaviyar's acting at all.

MPHT will be a huge hit because people love these cliche stories.Just like Mere Humsafar was such a huge hit even though it was a typical saas bahu saga just like Humsafar.These things always work.I have seen so many Turkish dizis that follow the same tropes of love triangle and hate to love and they work.Even Korean dramas have recycled the contract marriage plot numerous times because they become popular.It's pretty sad that an actor of Wahaj's calibre is forced to work in dramas like MPHT and tere bin.When he did dramas like JBG and DNUTN, the pakistani public didn't give those dramas the level of respect and attention they deserved.I will only be watching MPHT for Wahaj and try to enjoy this romantic role for his sake.🙂
There was one kdrama "Because this is my first life" its has contract marriage but the whole plot doesn't revolve around ìt and its very different than other Kdramas very realistic &beautiful
@@mnelf2754 I see.I haven't seen this one but the contract marriage trope became immensely popular with Full House in the early 2000s.I still see it occasionally.Like you said, it's all about the treatment, the direction and acting, I guess.Even Vampire Diaries was immensely popular but if you look at it's core, it was a love triangle between two brothers and a girl. Obviously, there was a whole supernatural world but the love triangle is the backbone of the story.
@AmyP4354 I agree with you 100%. It's not Wahaj's fault that he has selected these kind of roles but the public. When he gave his 200% in JBG and DNUTN, they didn't get any appreciation, JBG hardly even didn't got 1M views on any of its episodes. In these dramas Wahaj's acting was phenomenal but none of these even got nominated for any awards, and thus makes me so sad and I wonder how does anyone feel about that when you give your best to something and it didn't even get the appreciation it deserved. So I think it was a good decision by Wahaj to chose scripts which are hypertension and contains drama. I am only watching this drama for Wahaj, and I really hope that it turn out to be a huge blockbuster.

Thank you for being honest Aamna about Mujhye Pyaar howa tha. Had such high hopes but the promos and the 1st episode left me disappointed. Its painful when good actors dont perform well or naturally. I wish you guys actually critically comment on Zaviyar's acting too. I find him bland and emotionless. He is one actor that I havent been able to connect in any of his dramas, besides maybe in Sang-e-Mah. He has done some half a dozen dramas with big directors and actors of the industry, yet his improvement is nowhere to be seen. Its mind-boggling how producers just keep giving him drama after drama, aur woh bhi major walye, and he looks half interested in all. He should seriously take a break and go attend an acting school. When I was in 6 th grade and I was just 12 years old then in india . One roadside romeo was stalking me and proposing me . He used to stand in front of my way. I used to hate him like hell. He was 9 years older than me and I was too shy to tell my parents that someone is bothering me. He came behind me till 3 years and I will be able to get rid of him when his family got shifted to Delhi from Meerut city. Now I live in Canada happily with my husband and 8 years old daughter but I still hate that toxic guy who were so bad as shamsher of ktk. I was intelligent enough to just ignore him totally. These kind of toxic man should be hated .

In one word, Muje Pyar Hua Tha is trite. From family dynamics, with one bhabi negative/materialistic and the other one angelic, to the cousin love which would most likely remain unrequited complete with the second (much more) eligible hero, everything has been done to death before. Wahaj seemed like the only actor giving his all to the role which seemed a bit much compared to Hania's typically beyond casual act. Hania acts well but here it gave the feel of rinse and repeat, meaning a rehash of the bubbly Rumi from that Feroz Khan drama. Zaviar, again, very good looking, very ordinary performance. The support cast is good, with the Khala and her daughter taking the cake for being OTT and the rest for being underwhelming. Overall...trite.
AGAR: A very big thank you to aamna for watching agar as it is a really subtle ,well directed and calm show a show that makes you believe that good husbands do exist. And I also think that Faruk will die in the end not just because he is a good husband but in one of the scenes hooriya's younger sister mentions how they have have a love story like Romeo and Juliet where Romeo dies in the end . I think Hassan should give it a shot again as he always complains about toxic male character which is definitely not the case with Faruk and progressive women like Annie , zainab and Chandni .

When you can get TRP's and millions of views with a mediocre storytelling why waste time making well-knit nuanced stories? 🙄Mujhe pyar hua tha is another cousin marriage and love triangle story which has been done to death. Pretty faces and no substantial characters....grrr Since Maula Jatt we have had no interviews so please interview celebrities regularly. I'd even like to see on the set segments as well. Kahani suno is the name of the song sang by Kaifi Khalil like a year ago and people loved it and then Ary acquired its rights and even named the drama on the song lyrics ..so it is just not an OST 🤦🏻♀️..
I didn’t like mujhay pyaar hua tha one bit and honestly idk why. Just didn’t click. None of the performances from the main three were convincing enough to me. Hania’s character is a mix of rumi and hala, wahaj wasn’t convincing so far and zavyaar just came off as creepy. Idk how long the ost can hold it together Hassan😭

I watched the first episode of Pyar Hua and like Amna got really put off by the staring of all the men at Haniya. I wish someone would have stood up and said this looks Cheap!!! It’s unfortunate that Wahaj has to pick such scripts. It clearly shows this was probably one of the better scripts out of the lot he had to pick from which is a shame.

For KTK…Hassan wants writers to make a story of a forced marriage & what a girl would do in reality. Well, Gul-e-Rana was a drama like that. The guy forces her into marriage, then changes himself to become a better person but she doesnt forgive him, leaves him & carries on with her own life!

Aamna, you were hillarious in Farq review. Especially that - " abb aap meri naukri na Karein, aap ghar baith kar sharaabein piye 😆😆😆😆😆 . Though I have stopped watching most of the dramas, but I never fail to watch your reviews. They are more entertaining than the serials itself ! Also, I feel done with cousin marriages which is the foundation of most of the serials. Nevertheless, Hassan and Aamna , keep up the good work.
When you wrap up a drama you review it very well but then to acknowledge the efforts of the actors you start finding what good things must be appreciated like their hard work. I think all performers get their due payment for the hardwork done. Kesi Teri lhudgharzi was not just a worst story but one of the worst dramas. Such appreciation is one reason why actors say yes to all type of stories and characters because they believe their role is only to perform it and not to take responsibility of what story or character they are doing. Or otherwise don’t question these actors when they portray bad examples for the society.
I am a huge Wahaj fan yet I disliked every minute of MPHT. The scene where Zaviyar’s character gets smitten by Maheer in the first sight was very tacky.

Amna is so spot on about Mujhe pyar huwa tha review. Hania was looking quite less than her potential. Her dress was so loose and she was looking older. There’s nothing new in the story, the mother of bride was soooo cheaply dressed, it was not even fit for her size as if she was wearing someone’s dress. It was too damn slow and scenes were so sloth like slow. No one appears to be gelling in with each other be it home setup of Wahaaj and hania. Wahaaj is doing the same character as of Fitoor. Zavyar is hardly can be called an actor. His face is always showing same lost feelings.

I have seen multiple dramas like Bashar Momin and Kaisi teri khudgarzi , where the toxic male character are praised by the audience. Especially Bashar Momin where Rudaba falls in love while Bashar was abusing her, comparing it to kaisi teri khudgarzi where she fell in love with the changed Shamsher
I used to watch a few scenes here and there of KTK but I haven't watched even a scene of last 2, 3 episodes. But I have always really enjoyed your sarcastic reviews. I'm going to miss your reviews of KTK a lot. But I know you guys will find another roastable drama soon as we have a lot of roastable stories these days. 😄

MPH: Nothing new, literally nothing new. Same old bubbly and sweet Hania, with same Zaviyar in same expression. Wahaj and Hania did seem a bit off as the couple in few scenes but will see if they do develop a chemistry. I will say the OST by Kaifi Khalil is absolutely stunning, one of the only thing that might keep me hooked. The same old one sided lover, and one girl who absolutely cannot see all the flags by the boy, what a typical novel story.

Hi Aamna, I want to start off by saying that I love Christmas movies- they are incredibly predictable and just simple feel-good entertainment with no complexities. That’s my take on MPHT. If it’s a simple predictable feel good watch - I’ll take it :)

I amm so happy that i have never ever liked Feroz as an actor. There are reports coming from industry ( i am trying to navigate through few contacts that i have to find out whats the opinion of industry ppl on feroz) that he is a really horrible person. Aliza is right. Sajal is right. All his co stars complaining against him are right. I am still puzzled though. If i ever get a chance to meet Aamna in my life (whenever i go to pak i will try my level best) that how was she even friends with this toxic man? Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha: I found it too bland. Barely managed to get through the episode. I felt all three main leads' acting came across as forced. There was no chemistry between the two pairs. The actors are looking exactly the same that they look in their dozen other dramas. All in all, underwhelming and disappointing would be the wum up. The only good thing about this drama is the OST.
Ayesha's character is complicated... She does not make sense.. Since beginning she is a emotional girl, she wanted bano to get married to her love but eventually she got married to her boss. Then her complexes arised. I agree with Aamna, Bano is the only sensible and beautiful character in the drama.

Deffo agree that it doesn’t have a lot of new things to offer but sometimes a strong cast & the main leads can steal the limelight & make a show really enjoyable. However, having said that one aspect I didn’t like of the first episode was Areeb’s character & the way he was acting. The constant starring at Hania’s character was inappropriate, cringe worthy stalker-type behaviour. Even the scene when Saad’s stares at Maheer it was totally unnecessary, it could of just been for a few seconds which is way more realistic rather then going on for quite some time. On Wahaj’s performance I think it was fine for this first episode, not much scope in this opening one so want to give it a few more episodes before I comment on performances. I’ll be honest Wahaj is actually my favourite actor so seeing him back on screen was great and this is the first drama l watching after months so I did quite enjoy it despite the fact its quite cliche and not really anything out of the box (story wise). So let’s see what the rest unfolds. Just for your information too in case you missed it, Wahaj recently gave an interview (it was an online one not in person) in which he said that his character Saad in MPHT is different to Hamza in Fitoor and by the 4th/5th ep people will realise that. So that is good to know that Wahaj’s character won’t turn into a toxic obsessive lover if he doesn’t end up getting married to Maheer!

He can’t act sorry he really really needs to take some acting classes tired of seeing him everywhere and pure nepo product. Wahaj my boy definable deserved better Ahhh !

MPHT will be a huge hit because people love these cliche stories.Just like Mere Humsafar was such a huge hit even though it was a typical saas bahu saga just like Humsafar.These things always work.I have seen so many Turkish dizis that follow the same tropes of love triangle and hate to love and they work.Even Korean dramas have recycled the contract marriage plot numerous times because they become popular.It's pretty sad that an actor of Wahaj's calibre is forced to work in dramas like MPHT and tere bin.When he did dramas like JBG and DNUTN, the pakistani public didn't give those dramas the level of respect and attention they deserved.I will only be watching MPHT for Wahaj and try to enjoy this romantic role for his sake.🙂
There was one kdrama "Because this is my first life" its has contract marriage but the whole plot doesn't revolve around ìt and its very different than other Kdramas very realistic &beautiful
@@mnelf2754 I see.I haven't seen this one but the contract marriage trope became immensely popular with Full House in the early 2000s.I still see it occasionally.Like you said, it's all about the treatment, the direction and acting, I guess.Even Vampire Diaries was immensely popular but if you look at it's core, it was a love triangle between two brothers and a girl. Obviously, there was a whole supernatural world but the love triangle is the backbone of the story.
@AmyP4354 I agree with you 100%. It's not Wahaj's fault that he has selected these kind of roles but the public. When he gave his 200% in JBG and DNUTN, they didn't get any appreciation, JBG hardly even didn't got 1M views on any of its episodes. In these dramas Wahaj's acting was phenomenal but none of these even got nominated for any awards, and thus makes me so sad and I wonder how does anyone feel about that when you give your best to something and it didn't even get the appreciation it deserved. So I think it was a good decision by Wahaj to chose scripts which are hypertension and contains drama. I am only watching this drama for Wahaj, and I really hope that it turn out to be a huge blockbuster.

I wish you guys actually critically comment on Zaviyar's acting too. I find him bland and emotionless. He is one actor that I havent been able to connect in any of his dramas, besides maybe in Sang-e-Mah. He has done some half a dozen dramas with big directors and actors of the industry, yet his improvement is nowhere to be seen. Its mind-boggling how producers just keep giving him drama after drama, aur woh bhi major walye, and he looks half interested in all. He should seriously take a break and go attend an acting school. When I was in 6 th grade and I was just 12 years old then in india . One roadside romeo was stalking me and proposing me . He used to stand in front of my way. I used to hate him like hell. In one word, Muje Pyar Hua Tha is trite. From family dynamics, with one bhabi negative/materialistic and the other one angelic, to the cousin love which would most likely remain unrequited complete with the second (much more) eligible hero, everything has been done to death before. Wahaj seemed like the only actor giving his all to the role which seemed a bit much compared to Hania's typically beyond casual act. Hania acts well but here it gave the feel of rinse and repeat, meaning a rehash of the bubbly Rumi from that Feroz Khan drama. Zaviar, again, very good looking, very ordinary performance. The support cast is good, with the Khala and her daughter taking the cake for being OTT and the rest for being underwhelming. Overall...trite.
AGAR: A very big thank you to aamna for watching agar as it is a really subtle ,well directed and calm show a show that makes you believe that good husbands do exist. And I also think that Faruk will die in the end not just because he is a good husband but in one of the scenes hooriya's younger sister mentions how they have have a love story like Romeo and Juliet where Romeo dies in the end .
I think Hassan should give it a shot again as he always complains about toxic male character which is definitely not the case with Faruk and progressive women like Annie , zainab and Chandni .

I watched the first episode of Pyar Hua and like Amna got really put off by the staring of all the men at Haniya. I wish someone would have stood up and said this looks Cheap!!! It’s unfortunate that Wahaj has to pick such scripts. It clearly shows this was probably one of the better scripts out of the lot he had to pick from which is a shame.

For KTK…Hassan wants writers to make a story of a forced marriage & what a girl would do in reality. Well, Gul-e-Rana was a drama like that. The guy forces her into marriage, then changes himself to become a better person but she doesnt forgive him, leaves him & carries on with her own life!

When you wrap up a drama you review it very well but then to acknowledge the efforts of the actors you start finding what good things must be appreciated like their hard work. I think all performers get their due payment for the hardwork done. Kesi Teri lhudgharzi was not just a worst story but one of the worst dramas. Such appreciation is one reason why actors say yes to all type of stories and characters because they believe their role is only to perform it and not to take responsibility of what story or character they are doing. Or otherwise don’t question these actors when they portray bad examples for the society.
I am a huge Wahaj fan yet I disliked every minute of MPHT. The scene where Zaviyar’s character gets smitten by Maheer in the first sight was very tacky.

Amna is so spot on about Mujhe pyar huwa tha review. Hania was looking quite less than her potential. Her dress was so loose and she was looking older. There’s nothing new in the story, the mother of bride was soooo cheaply dressed, it was not even fit for her size as if she was wearing someone’s dress. It was too damn slow and scenes were so sloth like slow. No one appears to be gelling in with each other be it home setup of Wahaaj and hania. Wahaaj is doing the same character as of Fitoor. Zavyar is hardly can be called an actor. His face is always showing same lost feelings.

I have seen multiple dramas like Bashar Momin and Kaisi teri khudgarzi , where the toxic male character are praised by the audience. Especially Bashar Momin where Rudaba falls in love while Bashar was abusing her, comparing it to kaisi teri khudgarzi where she fell in love with the changed Shamsher

MPH: Nothing new, literally nothing new. Same old bubbly and sweet Hania, with same Zaviyar in same expression. Wahaj and Hania did seem a bit off as the couple in few scenes but will see if they do develop a chemistry. I will say the OST by Kaifi Khalil is absolutely stunning, one of the only thing that might keep me hooked. The same old one sided lover, and one girl who absolutely cannot see all the flags by the boy, what a typical novel story.

I want to start off by saying that I love Christmas movies- they are incredibly predictable and just simple feel-good entertainment with no complexities. That’s my take on MPHT. If it’s a simple predictable feel good watch - I’ll take it :)

I totally agree to what you said about kaisi teri khudgarzi.. thoroughly enjoyed your reviews.. and you said right about Deewangi on your last review..so Deewangi was far better than this and the story was very responsible.. and the picture of shamsher to which mehak was talking it's actually a pic of sultan from Deewangi

I amm so happy that i have never ever liked Feroz as an actor. There are reports coming from industry ( i am trying to navigate through few contacts that i have to find out whats the opinion of industry ppl on feroz) that he is a really horrible person. Aliza is right. Sajal is right. All his co stars complaining against him are right. I am still puzzled though. If i ever get a chance to meet Aamna in my life (whenever i go to pak i will try my level best) that how was she even friends with this toxic man? Did she ever not get those negative misogynsitc pathetic vibes from him?

Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha: I found it too bland. Barely managed to get through the episode. I felt all three main leads' acting came across as forced. There was no chemistry between the two pairs. The actors are looking exactly the same that they look in their dozen other dramas. All in all, underwhelming and disappointing would be the wum up. The only good thing about this drama is the OST.

Ayesha's character is complicated... She does not make sense.. Since beginning she is a emotional girl, she wanted bano to get married to her love but eventually she got married to her boss. Then her complexes arised. I agree with Aamna, Bano is the only sensible and beautiful character in the drama.
MPHT’s first episode wasn’t impressive . The spark ⚡️ between Hania and wahaj was missing. And Zaviyar’s character was the cringiest thing about the episode, I mean watching him stare and stalk the girl like this made me uncomfortable
I belong to 2% community who never love and watch drama like Kasi teri khudgurzi, Mujy payar hua tha but I am always curious about 98% public who enjoys these types of drama...totally disgusting😬
I watched the whole KTK and came to this conclusion that it was a fazulest drama of this year with ghatiya story and illogical and fazul ending.

habs: they ruined a beautiful story which we were so captivated with...first they gave doubt thing unnatural twist that can be sought out soon n very nicely now this, can't understand ayesha's character which I love the most initially how she was all uncomfortable and confused after marriage still she didn't do any stupidity but now what happened to her..
u didn't disclose sadia aunty's story..how it is justifiable fahad told soha about deal.. why basit didn't ask soha how she came to know....
