My favorite fast car
It's July, 2021. A friend offered his 2009 Base Corvette, but with every available option, to me for 15,000. I never owned one, but I believe that is a steal. He was offered 21000 sight unseen by some website. I think a mint one even with 66000 miles on it, is certainly a bargain at 15 grand.
Really depends on the condition and how it was maintained.

Damn, are all those squeeks and rattles just regular cabin noise from loose parts or were the shocks blown or something. Thats what it sounded like I heard.
Targa top noise. Mine doed the same thing. I refuse to tighten screws and stuff to stop it. Id rather hear the squeeks and crackles than to stabilize it so much that it may cause stress cracks in the targa top.
I hear silicone treatment of the seals helps stop this.

I'm about to get on of these or a c5 but I really hate targa tops but that's all I can seem to find wish I could find more hard tops
Brett ward420 You could always get a C5 or C6 Z06. Both Vettes are hard tops from the factory.

My '08 also has the competition grey wheels, they don't seem to be very common.
It’s just so different here it’s cool ok speeding up..by when I’m in that Z06 the tides turn one second we’re cruising next I’m shitting my pants.

Looks like it has the non-drilled brake rotor mod too.

Vanneker lol yep it is but it's easily fixable tightening up the bolts/ using a lubricant will be a night and day difference

yahya al-saadi Why would he have? He either had the clutch in or the torque of that engine wouldn't have allowed him to stall just from that speed.
oh ok, im beginner so everytime im in that postion i stall, so i was wondering.
yahya al-saadi if you're going really slow speeds like that and think you might stall, just dip in the clutch.

The suspension is very rattledly they did not do a good job on the suspension
Terry Tracey suspension is not rattling it is just the t top creaking a little and it's easily fixable
