- I love this library. Always have and always will. I still have yet to find a sample library that captures a singular human performance as well as this one... they truly delivered lightning in a bottle.
I've read a lot of vastly conflicting opinions- those that love it more than anything, and those that say it sounds amazing but they just can't use it, because it's so different (programming-wise) from any other library they own.
Fair points, and I'm not here to change anyones mind, I am not affiliated with this company and have no affiliate links or marketing bullshit to sell you like so many others around. I just love it and once I learned how to use the crescendos and diminuendos, it opened up a whole new world for writing solo violin performances!
I bought the library many years ago, I didn't get it for free for review.

Good to see you again, Brian! Great tutorial.
Hi Les! Thank you! Hope you are well my friend
Great Tutorial ! Keep up and well done!
Thank you!
Tremendous tutorial. Thank you so much.
EDIT: I realized I misspelled and mispronounced "diminuendo" over and over, sorry about that! My mistake!
This is a terrific tutorial. Wonder if you are utilizing Articulation Maps in your DAW/Cubase, and if so, what is your experience? I love the idea how you change the articulation mid note, but does a DAW's articulation map functionally work that way.
Sorry, I wrote this comment before I got to the section where you are using the Articulation Maps. I use DP and will see if I can do changes in the middle of a note.

This is fantastic, thank you SOO MUCH for this!! By the way do you happened to know if this is possible to do in Logic Pro? Also, have you ever experienced the Joshua Bell plugin playing back your midi song slightly different each time you play it? It does this in my logic file and I have no idea how to get rid of it 😮💨
Yes this should all be possible in Logic, I have never used it and have never had this library play back MIDI differently each time in cubase or studio one
@@bfree45Thanks so much for your quick reply! And so weird that Logic does that! How is Cubase? Is it a pretty good software like Logic?
@@unconditional--love I think Cubase and Logic are probably the most used DAWs in the world today, at least when it comes to orchestral music and cinematic styles. I like both Cubase and studio one, I find studio one the easiest and most intuitive to use by far, but it still isn’t quite as stable and doesn’t offer the same performance as Cubase with really large projects. I reverted back to Cubase recently after the release of Cubase 13, which had some features I’d been wishing for for a while!
