as someone who was a pastry chef assistant in a high end restaurant for several years, i get it. to me it’s relatable bc in the kitchens it’s such a love/ hate relationship, like when your ass is getting kicked on the line but it’s such a rush and you build such great relationships bc everyone is going through the same thing. that being said i love Josh’s vids bc he elevates his dishes while also giving optional recipes for those with less experience, at times makes me miss working in kitchens
Tbf he may have but can't show favoritism. My last manager job(theater), every time one of the teenagers quit to go to college I was legitimately proud of all of them. But sometimes showing emotion will make the person 2nd guess leaving.
