Unboxing & install of the INBAY pocket wireless charger / charging compartment Volkswagen Passat B8

This charging compartment was fitted in a UK RHD Volkswagen Passat B8 TDI from 2015.
Advanced apologies for the white noise in the background (it’s the Osmo Gimbal motors).

If you are in the UK, your car will probably come with the “smokers pack” that is an ashtray and lighter. Unfortunately, the Inbay is not compatible with this. However, I found the compatible part on the online market, and has the following part number: 3G2 863 071A. Inbay claims you will need the part from LHD cars, which would be 3G1 863 071A. Though as you can see from my video, I managed to fit the Inbay without issues with the part for RHD.
