Upconverting Nanoparticles - Tacking challenges of biophotonics applications
In this webinar, Dr. Katarzyna Komolibus discusses about the design of upconverting nanoparticles (UCNPs) to tune their emission wavelength to increase the light penetration depth in tissue to enable a range of biophotonics applications. Each of the upconversion processes and parameters involved in the UCNP synthesis are described in detail. Opportunities and limitations of using UCNPs are outlined as well as current approaches to overcome the current challenges to improve UCNP quantum yield. Finally, applications on in vivo imaging, immunohistochemistry, photodynamic therapy and super-resolution microscopy are also discussed. - Věda a technologie
It really helps me to understand overall concept of UCNP. Thank you for the uplaoding.
Thank you for uploading this video. The animation video of energy transfer upconversion really helped me to understand the basic concept. Thank you again.
Great Presentation
I sincerely thank you for the explanaton it helped me alot
Sorry for my bad English.
Can someone explain to me why in the probability plot as a function of radius for the 4f orbital the Y axis has a value of 1.2 if it is assumed that it cannot be greater than one?
