I’ve reported 3 merge in turn lane blockers in the last 12 months and they were all prosecuted. 🎥😂😂
Really!
Well done!!! 👌I had no idea that you could report these #ssholes, 😮 I'll definitely be doing that from now on!!!
Hi 5 to that one! Had a numpty in a mini a few years ago down west wales do the same to me, sent off the footage n was prosecuted pretty darn quickly. Karma’s a b*tch!
@@os3990 yes really, because it is an offence to deliberately block a live lane of the highway. So I will keep on recording and reporting these motorists, and so should everyone else.
@@Mysixshooter yes I agree of course. Great work - I am pleasantly surprised in the result!
0:57 Ron going way too fast to react to the tractor let alone any other vehicle coming past!
Too many people think that because single track roads are quiet and national speed limit, it's safe to do so. I've had countless near misses due to idiots like this.
I can't even see him mounting the verge to be honest. Other than his excessive speed it was a complete non event
@@Grover91I find it baffling such roads are 'national speed limit'. Should be 30 at most, especially with no white lines.
@@listerofsmeg884 I think that it's not considered worth the effort/cost of putting up the tens of thousands of road signs that would be required. A blanket 20mph or 30mph would be just as unsuitable as a blanket "national speed limit" is currently is for blind corners.
Plus you can get long, straight sections of single track road where (even with high hedges on either side) it's safe to go faster.
The time and effort to determine and put in meaningful speed limit signs, that change as you drive along these lanes, would be vast.
I mean, I understand where you're coming from. 60mph is bonkers. But you can already get prosecuted for dangerous driving when well under 60. If you drive like a bellend.
@@gemma3877 if there was a set speed limit for such roads. Like the set national speed limit, they wouldn't need thousands of signs. I'm thinking of the mandatory 20 mph recently applied in Wales. Rural roads with no dividing white markings should be mandatory 30 mph. Not 60
0:57. Ron is surprised by a tractor on a country lane.
I suppose he expected it to vanish to let him through?
So surprised he didn't even have time to find the brake pedal.
see how the disabled badge holder was sliding around on his dashboard, no intention of slowing down for anything coming the other way - he's dangerous in my opinion.
City slicking twat no doubt!
Merging in turn needs to be taught more strictly in the uk because after decades british drivers still struggle with the simple concept.
Same with middle lane hogs. Although there's an advert on tv for that one lately. Sad when you have to teach people the obvious.
It’s the old farts still doing it not the new drivers.
They should make a second driving test for over 50’s and reeducate them.
They are a blight on the driving world.
The British tradition of queuing is too powerful.
I agree, but the highway code also needs to be clearer. It needs to state that the person merging (whose lane is ending) is responsible for safely merging. It's also only recommended at low speeds - otherwise it's essentially an overtake, and the merger should treat it as such (mirror, indicate, stop for a suitable/safe gap, etc.). I think this is where it isn't clear, and why people don't like late mergers.
It's also up to the person "queueing" to allow for other road users to merge safely. Like everything, it's a bit of give and take.
Blocking the lane is never an option.
@@furiekins the signs say merge in turn. Think that’s pretty clear.
When will people learn to drive in a staggered formation on roundabouts. It solves many problems. Stop trying to overtake, wait 5 seconds.
Or, the incompetent drivers incapable of using a roundabout correctly could learn some bloody lane control. Once again WHY does everyone else have to drive defensively to accommodate the effing idiots FFS!
Most people do. They don't send in video clips of nothing happening.
@@ChuckNorrisFakeand most important, following very basic rules like using the left lane when going straight ahead or to the left unless signs or road markings indicate otherwise.
However, some people are also just total idiots, so it’s good to always have that in mind when driving. Especially at roundabouts… very often people seem to be in the wrong lane, or not indicating correctly, or cutting across lanes, or just pulling out right in front of you etc. I’m always hyper aware on them that anyone could do anything at any time 😅
I agree with what you say though, the driving from that fiesta driving was absolutely shocking. How people can’t understand that left lane is ahead for roundabouts and they have a license is beyond me.
Or people can just learn to use a round about, and yes everyone makes mistakes and uses the wrong lane occasionally when driving in a new area so this is where you mirror, signal and manoeuvre if it's safe to do so. If not then you accept your fate and take the exit your lane is designated to, or you mirror, signal and manoeuvre to go round the roundabout again.
Most of the time they are not trying to overtake, they pull off at the same time, or one is just really slow. I am not going to miss my chance to enter or or hold back because some thickos don't know how to drive properly.
2:34. Kieren, sees a hazardous situation developing. Drives straight into the very same hazardous situation.
hes a muppet
I found it funny how he aimed for the teenagers 😂
@@scottlaaa And how would that have looked if one of them had fallen over in the road and he'd hit them?
@@jondrummer1989 Like karma?😁
@@MKPSG12 Yeah I'm sure the insurance company and Police would call swerving towards a pedestrian "Karma"
5:26 "Despite all my ROAD rage, I'm still just a rat in a cage."
Yes!
Thought it was but I had check first Bullett with Butterfly Wings, very good 👏👏👏 Smashing Pumpkins how apt , considered stolen 🤣😂
Those merge in turn lane blockers are really annoying. They're contributing massively to the snarl up.
Motorists not drivers
If they’re sat behind the wheel operating the controls, they’re drivers!
Stella floored it to stop that fiesta merging in front
@@leedeehan No she didn’t, she was getting up to speed to enter a motorway. That Fiesta driver was being a prick.
@@leedeehan No she didn’t, she was getting up to speed to enter a motorway. The Fiesta driver was driving aggressively, as is shown by the way he went past Stella.
@leedeehan Speed recorded at bottom of screen shows she was accelerating consistently as you would if you are using a slip road properly to match your speed to the road your merging to. The dickhead in the Fiesta attempted a late and dangerous overtake on a slip road which they didn't have sufficient power to complete, a merge is done at low speed in traffic.
Lesson from video, kierans a knob. Charlie is a top bloke for stopping and hopefully giving over the footage.
wtf is charlie listening too though
@dikdik2524 joe rogan I think
I know the area he was pretty well.
The car pulled in front of him after being illegally parked.
The kids further up are typical chav morons acting tough.
Rogan brossssssssss wooo
Was the last clip a training day for the "You will NOT merge in turn" police?
4:31 What on earth are you stopping for? If you're that nervous, get the bus.
Oh dear Andrew what were you thinking, retest time maybe needed or a brush up on attentive driving
I like how this comment isn't actually the original but has more likes. I have a small theory why.
Why do certain drivers insist in under/overtaking at roundabouts, just to save a few seconds. Yes, I know there are lanes and drivers should use them, but how many videos on CZcams prove that they don't. So yes, get into the correct lane for the exit point and stay back a bit and let the others do their thing. You then come out the other side without any paperwork to do, or garages to visit for repairs. Think of all that time saved.
@@plxton It registered near the top for me, both in Top and Newest. But if your theory is what I think it is, I'm sure you're correct.
6:38 - The cammer standard. Accelerate towards someone pulling out and then undertake.
Well done Keiran for firstly causing more issues by cramming your car through a tiny gap when you could have waited for two seconds and secondly for swerving at some kids in the road.
Top driver.
Keiran, like many others on here, causes the issue and then posts it, blaming other road users.
Come on, you saw those kids were playing at it pretending to block the road. They probably thought it was more fun because they were 'nearly run over' compared to being ignored.
He's a Janner so what else can you expect?
1:52 reaction like a cartoon character
She had Saturday night fever 🕺 🕺 🕺
Was thinking the same.
If you want to wait in the queue then wait in the queue. Let us better drivers do it correctly. You 🤡🤡
Nicely put.
@@japsniper1980 Thank you 🙂
Love it. Especially those who get bent out of shape at the merge point, when they realise you have just spent no time getting to the point they have just spent 20 minutes queuing for.
First clip Andrew, you can see whats going to happen from a mile off 🤭
Err nope. Use that roundabout three/four times a day .Old girl was in the wrong lane
@@Our1960shouserenovation-dj3hd unless the approach lanes are marked otherwise, lane one is left or straight on and lane 2 is straight on or right. Andrew caused the problem by trying to undertake. Are you Andrew?
@@Our1960shouserenovation-dj3hdTrue, but the point is he must have been aware she was side by side with him at some point?
@@Right_is_Wrong Right lane would only be straight over if the exit has two lanes. Perhaps you are Andrew.
Both Andrew & the other driver were using the wrong lanes!
9:14 - Credit to you for stopping and helping them out with evidence!
Nice one Andrew. Some piss poor obs and road positioning going on. Well done.
Glad it wasn’t just me!
You mean the observations of looking at the road sign that states both lanes can turn right?
I'll agree with the road positioning. If he'd had stayed in a staggered formation the bump may never have happened.
@@dalmo001 He could also have used some acceleration sense and held back letting the car in front make its manoeuvre. He was trying to be clever by speeding up on the approach to the roundabout and it backfired. Yes piss poor obs.
@@LavisP This is exactly what I meant by staggered formation. If he just held back instead of making it two abreast.
“Go on crash” 😂😂😂
09:30 - The way those two went to either window made it look like they were trying to push the blame off. They got right in the faces of the passenger & drive both at the same time. Then Mr Tall got out the dash cam car. 🤣
I thought that too, trying to bully the innocent driver!
There is a strong correlation between cars that have those pretend F1 car wet weather centre lights and people who drive like bellends
Love how Carl speeds up towards the car coming out
3:55 "Go on, crash!" We can all relate to feeling like that. 😂
1:06 Good work cammer. Holding back and staying stationary to show the other car you are safe and not going get in the way. This is a skill that many lack.
Reversing so well is another.
I honestly can't believe the amount of people who simply do not understand how to merge correctly. Dafties
Ron - What did you expect the tractor to do going down a country road? Next time why not try driving at a slower speed, as you should expect tractors near fields.
Bet Ron would have thought "There's a perfectly good field at the side of the road"!
I hate those uneducated drivers that block the lane on merge and turn. TOTW every time!!! 🤬
Whilst I agree with you, it's also the twats that keep going to the end. So I personally like to stay left and I leave a 2/3 car gap in front. But!, does anyone use it? NO!, they carry on to push in at the very front of the que.
@@andystone5487you’re supposed to drive all the way to the front mate. That’s the point. Why waste 200-800 yards of perfectly good road space?
@@andystone5487 Thats the whole point, it doesn't say to merge randomly in the middle, you go to the end. Reconsider who you call twats.
It doesn't say merge! That is different. You are meant to get over
@@andystone5487 🤦
Ron should've slowed down a bit.
The volvo at the very end.....oh im not having you get in front so moves out to block the lane....what a prick.
there are some clowns on our roads
You'll find plenty in these comments as well.
How on earth do they drive in those shoes?
Kieran, driving at kids messing around, what that all about?
It's called fatherless
The whole clip was a cock-waving exercise
What you mean the kids risking their lives to show off to their mates? I dunno, moronic?
The lack of anticipation, infuriation, bad manners and appalling road craft coupled with dash cammers needing to get their shot and emphasizing and exaggerating minor transgressions from others on the road is worrying. i have been driving for 52 years and have in the past driven to excess speed on far too many occasions, but there was always a correct time, place and weather conditions but i was in the wrong and was lucky not to be caught by the police.
I used to travel from north east England to Aberdeen and back for work and could do it in 4 hours, then one day i was returning in a hire car and put some easy listening music on and just kept to the speed limit and it took me 4 hours and 30 minutes with a pee stop included and i got home feeling far better and recalling all the times i had just drove flat out all the way, tail gating and overtaking in stupid places and realized what a complete arse hole i had been so i just drive to the limit all the time now and if some other cock brained dick head wants to be past or in my line i just let them get on with it. much simpler less stress.
0:59 so wait, you see the tractor and trailer coming towards you, make absolutely NO attempt to slow down, and have the audacity to say "fucking hell" as if it was the tractor driver's fault?! Hand in your license Ron!
Carl - you had ages to react. 2:20
he actually sped up - at least he knows he's a moron
Yep - lifting off the gas is so boring though isn’t it? How would you get the clip on here if you don’t overreact and blast your horn?
Really kieran?! You could have let them through instead of squeezing through the gap they did indicate that they wanted to pull out! Smh
My god. How to make something out of nothing here! Half of these clips at least could be solved by laughably basic driving skills or patience.
I never ceased to be amazed at the amount of people who'd rather have an accident than avoid one because they think they have priority.
Seems to be the underlying theme in many of these clips
All present and correct.. BMW, Audi, Merc, VW Golf, Mini
The merge in turn blockers blow my mind. I cannot begin to understand how thick they must be. I come across this regularly on the A1 bridge repair work at wentbridge. Its normally lorries doing it.
Indeed - self policing the roads
I knew what was going to happen in the intro clip before it even occurred !
Because you watch dashcam compliations? Me too.
It’s amazing, actually it’s not, how many drivers don’t understand the concept of using all the available road space and merge in turn. These numptys think in their tiny little heads that drivers who do it correctly are queue jumping. If they would rather join a long queue let them, but for those who don’t, then don’t stop us.
Stella, that Fiesta driver probably thought you were going to stay at 30mph all the way down to the merge point. You definitely showed him, though.😠
1:51 one song springs to mind here 🎶”Like a puppet on a string”🎶 lol 😜
4.04 - Zach, you should be thankful - that's a very rare occurrence to see indicators working on a BMW 🙂
a hell of a lot of muppets here that need to re take their test, I cant believe they think they are in the right
that roundabout in hereford is terrible for people getting the wrong lane, had a driving instructor let his student get in the inside lane for straight on last week
7:55 I use that roundabout every single day getting home from work, and that sight is something that you'll see a lot. Using the middle lane to turn left, from time to time you might get someone using that lane, not indicating to turn right, but then use their indicator to come off the roundabout, as if the rest of what they did wasn't a guessing game anyway.
1:53 "Alexa, play The Kooks, She Moves In Her Own Way"
7:40 I would have sat there all day until they moved and just kept pointing at the arrow right in front of their car lol
I love how polite you lot are😂😂😂 so very different from us Aussies😂😂
4:10 how did the driver see that?! All I could see was headlights.
1:53 definite brown trouser moment!
1:51 Forget the ped, the lane discipline alone is half the vids that make it to this channel!
8:35 - Hahahahahahahhahaha, thought they were being clever there, then 😲💩💩💩💩💩💩
Stupid racing brake light tells a story.
A knobhead in a BMW with an illegal (to use on the public highway) Formula 1 rear brake light, says it all really.
Keiran..... well done, you saved 2 seconds and made the situation worse. Why not let people turn next time. Too many idiots like this on the roads
That last clip really winds me up, it's crazy how many idiots in this country not only don't realise that you're meant to use both lanes all the way up until the point of the lane closure and then merge in turn, but you then get those absolute bells who think they're suddenly the traffic police and drive down the middle of the lanes to block anyone. If people in that clip had all been doing as they're meant to, the queue would've been half the length it was, at most!
My particular road wind up too. They seem to manage it in France & Germany. I suspect 48% of us merge & 52% are 'Blockers'
Do you have to have high blood pressure to buy a dash cam or is it something that develops after you’ve bought one? Mine is already high so I can’t really afford to get one
Lets record ourselves driving in people's blindspots and rage when they don't see us. Carl might want to check his own lane discipline!
Shouldn't the van be in the right lane to turn right on the roundabout 😂
1:23 Not Cleland, but Holytown, next to the railway station.
Merge and turn blockers are cancer.
But there isn't any on here. Learn your road signs.
9:38 So annoying. We have this on the A30 in Cornwall. Clearly marked Use both lanes. Merge in turn. We still get people doing this.
Yep, use that road everyday for work after our vans leave the depot at Portreath. Before they opened the flyover and traffic was worse I seen many try to block me when I'm not even 600 yards from the end. They quickly chicken out though when it's a big van coming up behind them
Yeah, same thing at the Tamar bridge, both ways. Not a problem in the ancient mighty Micra , probably worth less than a door mirror on a modern car.
2:21. Carl. It is clear his intentions, so plenty of time to slow down.
Andrew, the only even slightly surprising thing about that first clip was your astonishment. Most dashcam compliations include one or two near misses or collisions on multi-lane roundabouts that would not have happened had two cars not been alongside each other. Still, if poor lane discipline is unheard of in Hereford, I want some of that.
always assume every other driver on the road is a complete idiot and they cant drive and you will be safer
6:37 sees a car pulling out on them and then accellerates to 50MPH in a 40MPH zone to make the situation worse. That's actual speed too, so cammers speedometer would have been Reading at least 54.
6:08 Stella, silly tart. COTW for sure. Snails pace until they decide to overtake you, then you floor it. Couldn't risk your fragile ego being obliterated by a little Ford overtaking you?
WHY wHy WhY do people insist on under/overtaking people on roundabouts and putting themselves in danger? Just don't do it, you muppets.
Yup. Many drivers are confused about lanes, which side of the road is theirs and their vehicle width once the white lines disappear. Roundabouts, country lanes etc. they're terrible 😂
yeah i remember when lanes were added to roundabouts for the terminally thick
Mike nearly crushes a pedestrian getting out from their car cos he is too impatient to wait and manoeuvre safely but then has issue with being cut up by someone else 🤷♂️
Lexma’s wipers would drive me nuts 🤓
4:23 I was violently pumping my imaginary accelerator pedal, trying to get the cammer to get a move on and stop parking on the roundabout.
4:43 yes that’s right Mike…see a potential hazard and speed up…clown
Fastest he'd moved all day.
10:20 - there's always one C that takes it upon themself to stop people using the merge in turn.
That is not a merge in turn where are the arrows on the road, it's telling you the line on the right is closed move into the left lane not go right to the end and try to cut in
@@heylilbaby156 found one of them 🤣
@@heylilbaby156 that's literally what amerge in turn is, otherwise you end up with a single queue that goes back miles blocking other junctions etc
@@heylilbaby156I’d rather let one vehicle “cut in” at the end of the lane that’s closing than have 10 thinking they are doing the “right thing” by merging early before I get to the merge point. They are not helping anyone, not me, not themselves.
@@heylilbaby156 No, it's telling you the lane on the right is GOING to close. It isn't closed yet, therefore the remaining space should be used. This is basic stuff.
7:33 How did Jake manage to still get angry whilst listening Daft Punk?
First clip was well in the wrong, left lane kept going round the roundabout.
6:38 that stretch of the A33 has a 40 mph speed limit, and the cammer was doing 47 mph approaching a busy roundabout. Try not to break the speed limit next time and it wouldnt have been an issue???
That's some mad inconsistent censoring on the podcast Charlie's listening to.
3:34 anonymous. Why did you feel the need to beep at the fiesta?
Although driving like an idiot, he didnt inconvenience you, overtook with plenty of space, just let him crack on and hole there's a copper round the corner, but probably not.
I think we can all agree that Kieran was being a jerk. 2:31
There really needs to be something specific put into the Highway Code about merge in turn.
Yes, Rule 134 is written as though the principle is well-understood by everyone in Britain, and all that's needed is a warning not to try it at speed.
Lexma, you need new wiper blades 😂😂😂😂
5:01 An Audi with a working rear wiper! This needs to be documented somewhere as this is such a rare moment captured on camera 😀
Some of the people sending in the clips need to look at there own driving first
Running red lights is such a massive thing now!
I had a impatient driver behind me driving a black volkswagen golf was coming around the roundabout and comes up my backside real close, he goes around me and I give him the middle finger he sees me doing this and drives of fast driving dangerous, I drive up to the next roundabout and he's there waiting in traffic, he sees me and waits for me to pass him for a couple of seconds and he drives off dangerously again.
Some people need to have their license of them for good.
He didn't like it that I gave him the middle finger. 😂😂
Merge lane blockers are sad people, with sad lifes.
Last clip. Does anyone know the highway code. Really. What part of use both lanes don't they understand.
Charlie @8:18 loves hogging that lane 3 which in part was a contributory factor to the accident and only finally moved over to gloat
1:52 what is she doing. Why didn’t she keep running across the road?🤦🏻♂️😂
If people would just slow down, drive to conditions, stop lane hogging and read the road most of these wouldn't have happened.
i am so confused by the the first clip who is in the wrong there aren’t road marking on the floor
01:30, caption should read: cammer fails to use a staggered position in traffic, hangs around a “blind spot” whilst swerving within a lane and is then surprised when they get cut up by an idiot.
9:24 It would be that demographic, with that stupid F1 light on the back. I hope he declared that to the insurance 😆
Wow 3 unmarked police cars so close together 😂😂😂😂😂
