how did they release this "next-gen" update but not increase the system requirements on the steam store page for PC players? it's hard to find any positives about this update as well as the amount of issues it's caused for players is dominating the news.
yeah its not ideal, i'm more upset about it breaking the mods at least for me
I'm playing on series x and played it on my ps5 the whole weekend, zero issues, put like 15 hours in each console. Update is awesome for console imo.
Its been broken since the update. THe Deck is not getting 90fps its getting about half that. Theres an issue with the vsync and or overlay. Same issue here. Fire up an ROG Ally at 720p and u get 40-60 fps same settings and my deck 90 to 120. Yea thats not happening lol.
Is it confirmed a vsync issue? Some games run much better on the SD OLED than the much more raw power of the Rog Ally, due to Linux running much better for some games compared to windows.
@@FlipFlopGod yes. A small bit of google or reddit and u can find the issue since launch of the update and before. I put up my video on it a little bit ago. FPS is half what the broken overlay / double vsync was showing. Even medium settings is well under 90fps.
it boggles me that people cant tell its 45fps and not 90.

Same. I noticed it immediately. There should be no choppiness at 90 or even 60 but 45 is noticeably not silky smooth. It also has bad frame pacing lol.

steam verified but still I see those side lights on the screen when you see through scope.... it bothers me... anyone? (you can fix this by change 1280 800 to 1280 720)

Every time I run this on my lcd steam deck it always crashes after 15 minutes, do you have any idea to fix it please?
You are not alone. I have tried the Proton Hotfix, dxcg interval config, Deck factory reset, clean install, still freezes and crashes. I feel lied to because it runs worse than ever but Valve and Bethesda tell me it’s all good and verified
I have had no issues on my LCD. Runs 50-60 fps and I have like 20 hours and counting so far!

try running vanilla with no mods, that helps a lot

Definitely not 90fps. 90fps is 2x smoother since the update doesn't know what to do with the OLED Deck's 90 hz screen and defaults to half refresh. Whatever fps your counter is reading, it's literally half that. Capping it to 45 will give you...22-23fps lol. Don't take my word for it. Check it out yourself.
