For the cool, holographic-color-looking effect, I don’t believe it was anything to do with datamoshing or deleting any sort of frames to corrupt the video. I’m leaning towards one filmed section of the supermarket was on top of another video layer and they changed the blending mode of the top layer to something like Color Dodge or something similar to that effect in Premiere, After Effects, Sony Vegas Pro, etc.
