SS Hot rod has to be my most anticipated out of the studio series figures and I think Kingdom Rodimus Prime even surpassed how excited I was for Hot rod
Yeah Rodimus os more Full Feature But also more full Broke-ening To our bank accounts.
I like this figure I'm happy I picked him up. That being said I think I'll skip on the Rodimus just to expensive for a bigger version of this toy.
Agreed, I'm doing the same. Plus I have the PotP Rodimus for side display as my main display I prefer Hot Rod as he wasn't Rodimus for long anyways.

10% of the reason I watch your videos is to learn whether or not a figure is good. The other 90% is for the entertainment value. Great video! I'm going to have The Touch stuck in my head for the rest of the day now.
To answer your question on why he's in the Voyager Class range rather then the Deluxe is because the Voyager budget allows for having the transformation steps and design to work as well as they do here. Well one of the reasons anyway given his accessories but still having him in the Deluxe range wouldn't have allowed his transformation to work as well. It's the same reasoning on why Kingdom Rodimus Prime's a Commander rather then a Leader and it's easy to see why Hasbro went with that. It's understandably not a popular idea but nonetheless it's proven effective.
Come to think of it Arcee would've truly benefited from being in the Voyager range to have her not be as much as a shellformer and partsforming that her ER figure is. Likewise with making Ultra Magnus a Commander Class figure to truly give us the definitive update to his 1986 original figure.
It could also be because hasbro is greedy and will do anything to get our money.

I'm with you on those shoulders, they are a bit of a pain, and the deluxe/voyager debate is real, what's not questionable is how good looking he is - he is 'Hot'.
Yeah, I was gonna get the Legends Targetmaster Hot Rodimus as my Hot Rod to go with my Kingdom Rodimus, but I've been won over by this guy.
The faux chest will still annoy me, coz it's the source of his shoulder problems. If it really needed to exist, it ought to have been a teensy bit less wide so it wouldn't hinder the shoulders.
But yeah, this my movie boy.

I get that, and in many cases I agree, however even with that said, the physical figures proportions is much closer to an average Deluxe. If you were listening, you know I didn't only mention the height. That's not to say that it can't be worth the price with accessories and certain engineering
