I think to determine, if it's actually a problem, we might need to use a first life character who doesn't have all the destinies available once epic kicks in. Same goes for some builds like Sharadi casters. Pain in heroics, badaboom once one step into epics, which wouldn't be that way, if you need to level through the destiny.
I think what you're saying about epic destinies is the whole reason for the level cap increase. If your changing how a character levels above 20, you may as well increase the cap. Here's hoping they implement epic spell creation :-D
Do the math on this one: my 2nd life tank I built for my friend: lvl 20 currently dex 30, wis 23, monk12 ftr8 kensai. improved evasion etc. wearing lvl 15 sharn gear. Defense chance at lvl 73%.(and higher if you keep spamming reed in the wind for dodge) And totally PM me because I am totally taking this next life and would like to hear your thoughts on 12monk 8 fighter kensai with blackrazor.
Your assessment of the jump in power from 19 to 20 doesn't take into account the HP and damage increase in mob power. There is the same distinctive jump in mob strength and players need this same power-up to balance it. Could it be a smoother "jump", sure, but you are incorrect when you say it isn't balanced well.
I gotta say i love the videos. Any advice to a player returning to the game after 7 years away? I find it hard to figure out the best course of action when all my characters are way underpowered with their 2012 gear and very little TR lives.

Thus the state of Rogue in DDO. (DM "developer voice"......We don't want Rogues like you in this instance....drifters....first thing you know we got a whole bunch of rogue classes like you in this game. Besides you wouldn't like it here....it's a quiet little dungeon, in fact you might say it's boring. But that's the way we like it..... And I get paid to develop it that way......(so called drifters.....Melkor, Nokowi, Slarden....Vinoe).
That's the statistics tab, which gives you information about different aspects of your character, like elemental absorbtion or spell penetration. Stats you have that just don't have any other place.
I want a permanent, not seasonal.. hardcore server. I don't like regular servers. You can still have the seasonal hardcore server with reward But I was a permanent hardcofe server..

If you want a challenge start over new toon with no gear and no tr lives. Says the guy with many tr lives and geared!! People like you make me laugh and sick at the same time.
I have done this, like on the hardcore league. It really enjoyed playing fresh and hitting all the goals and reaching the leaderboards. I enjoy working on a character and building it up over time to be something that feels accomplished. Once you get a few TRs in, you will find it pretty addicting :)

I like using Elven Dragonmrks on an Assassin. I find them to be very useful.
Search/DD 70 won't cut it in endgame so your rogue will need someone to do the traps for them.

I’m in the same boat. I quit in 2011 and none of this stuff existed at the time.

I agree with you. But I prefer to have the Legendary boots that give Freedom of Movement.

Agree there is a rouge on Khyber that gets about 175 kills in Baba
