Great breakdown! Lots of people are thinking there's some gimmick behind barbarians but they are quite simple. can you share your character sheet so show how you organized ur stats? I assume STR main with WIS secondary for fvs divine will? it would be great to see what kind of stats ur hitting to make that 1 level of fvs worthwhile?
Thanks for posting the Build I didn't see Bracers in the gear breakdown but am guessing you might use the Legendary Admiral's Wristwatch with a Festive Con +2 augment and one other augment with an IoD Scale Slot augment as well?
Didn't realize I forgot to add that. It's the kopru bracers for the profane hp. I forget the augments, but I just remember all the stats from the wristwatch got overlapped from augments, so I didn't use them

Wow! Amazing optimization...my barb is my main and i do ravenger cap w high intimidate for the insta kills ...I do realize the vistani cap, w raid augments, gear swaps and 2 levels is the next tier of play...im striving to get there and this really helps!
It is finally here! Excellent work, and great explanation on your decision making! Even if I don't have the skills to pull it off like you do, there's a lot to learn from it and work off of. One thing I was wondering about was actually the stat distribution and skills, since I saw you tumbling a lot, and I struggle to get all the skills I want on most of my melee builds (I tend to do batman like builds, though, which isn't the point of this one, of course). But yeah, would love to know how you went with all of that? Thanks!
The stats are 18str/8dex/16con/8int/18wis/8cha, leveling up str. Skills are 23 intim, 16 listen, 11 spot, 10 tumble, 10 UMD. Only skills really needed are 10 tumble for the 4th tumble charge and enough UMD for resurrection scrolls. Intim is nice for group play and spot/listen are convenient for some mob packs but is not necessary. I do have max tomes which lets me take the spring attack feat line and lets me have extra skill points. Looking back at it I should've included these in the video and probably a few other things (like weapon and other gear swaps). I often don't realize what things aren't super obvious to the majority of the playerbase since I have been playing the game for over a decade now.
Yeah, the 18 Wis is definitely a surprise to me, but I guess it's that or Cha for the trance, and you'd rather have the higher Will save? Also, I thought Listen was fairly useless if you just have high enough Spot, and Spot works for Secret Doors as well? I've played since the game was released (with a hiatus a few years back), and I think there's enough changes with the bigger patches to where you can be a month out of synch at times, and suddenly things are all different. xD Or something was changed along the way, and if you weren't there for it, it's hard to catch later on (like how Tumble was made useful a while back, then changed recently, but I'm from a time when Tumble just reduced your fall damage, then was changed to add mobility but didn't grant any dodge bonuses or anything, since we didn't have that back then). Anyways, thanks for the explanation! I imagine you can always make a follow up video with the gear swap, if need be. I bet people would love to watch that too.
Using the gear I showed in the video, 60% standing. Turning on the doublestrike past life gets 69%. And the reaper action boost adds an extra 30%. So in most combat situations, it's at 90%
I have a full sentient swap+qual wis orb for my divine trance. I also have another swap on my greataxe with 5 piece blood feast and 5 piece prowess. I also have affirmation on the greataxe for 1k temp hp when I hit enemies

@@emergenciesonly so if u swap to wis +++ to use the trance and swap back to main weapon, the +++ effect from trance doesn't reduce?
