Here's the thing. Cell Max has no cells from the previous Cell. He's a newly created Cell by the Red Ribbon Army based on Gero's plans. Remember, DBZ Cell was created by Gero's computer. Cell Max wasn't.

Nah, I liked that they used this version of cell for cell max. Considering perfect cell was a commercial creation with disregard for overall creative freedom....it was nice too see Cell like this.

No. Cell Max is no relation to DBZ Cell who was from a different timeline and was created by Gero's computer. Cell Max was created by RR army using Gero's plans but not his computer since it was destroyed by Trunks and Krillin.

This whole idea that the saiyans can practically transform into anything that the plot requires is getting kind of stale.
They should’ve kept it simple - Ss1-Ss3 is the basic super forms
And then when they reach god teir power they become “sayain god”(red), and super sayain God (blue)
{calling it super sayain god super saiyan sounds ridiculous}
And then later down the line they can finally introduce SS4 but call it Omega super saiyan or super saiyan Prime (because it’s their original prime super saiyan form. They grow back their tails and are able to Chanel their primal ape forms and combine it with super sayain god ,thus having red fur) and that should be the strongest form a sayain can reach. Now how powerful they can become in this form is up to the saiyan, but they shouldn’t just keep introducing new forms with different color hair. It’s getting ridiculous now, it won’t be long until they introduce a new form with rainbow hair 😅

I hate the entire concept of androids in this show. How is a guy just creating machines that rival the strongest characters in the universe. Ki makes zero sense and adds nothing to the show. And powerscaling is literally useless

I mean it makes sense since they even explained it that the guy who made them where watching the z fighters and also the villans collecting there DNA and that's how cell and Android 21 was made and he made them just as strong as they where when he was watching them that's why they where surprised that the z fighters power lvl went up so much 🤷🏽♂️

honstly, i'd rather this be cell max instead of a perfect cell max, semi-perfect cell makes for a better looking monster and he still has his tail while perfect cell has his tucked under his wings. Plus, i'd rather them keep perfect cell's legacy secured rather than them try and pull a Resurrection of C, which, like with Frieza, if done wrong, would only ruin him, and instead prefer them retconning semi-perfect cell and actually making him both cool and intimidating, something his Z counter-part failed at.
People can say whatever they want about cell max and orange piccolo, but no one can deny that he was way better than bio broly and stronger and faster than hirudagarn.
Piccolo knows how to tank and survive a savage and brutal beatdown cause he didn't stay down for very long, he got back up and stay in his orange form, despite that beating and was STILL exhausted from his battle with gamma 2, piccolo ( unlike goku and vegeta ) never reverted back into his power awakening or base form once he went orange again to fight cell max.
See, this is why i believe that even if piccolo cant outmatch ultra instinct goku right away, orange piccolo can, without question, outlast him, because goku still has that same weakness when using his ultra instinct, rapid ki consumption, he loses stamina and energy far faster when he uses ultra instinct and piccolo already knows this.
Meanwhile, piccolo can take several beatdowns and still stay orange. All he'd have to do is fight defensively, like he does already and wait for goku to drain himself and then move in to strike.

i freakin love cell max so much, the absolute best giant villain in the franchise. He just ignores his size and is pulling off the best combo's, speed, and power that a brainless, yet, highly instinctual beast should not be doing. Not even great ape vegeta or baby were doing this and hirudgarn was only hard to hit because of his phantom mist effect.
Cell Max is just a beast with no logical thinking unlike Perfect Cell,

I mean they did it with Frieza. Logic, rules, and powerscaling have been destroyed. There were always flukes but once Super came out it was literally fanfic. I mean wasn't the dude who wrote the manga the same guy who made those mod games...who's same characters like Goku's 3rd son Xicor later becoming canotical characters -_-

I would love Cell to return. The complaints that artists don’t want to have to draw his spots over and over again can be negated by just giving him a new transformation that doesn’t have spots. I would make him red and call it Blood Cell.

i feel like the animation in the movie was awful! i hated how it looked like a still image for most of the movie, and I didnt care at all about gohan getting more development just so he can give up training all over again, like we know he will. also piccolo's orange form lacks creativity, and Cell was wasted in here, they couldve given us a completly new designed form. like not a stupid color change like golden frieza who looks more monkey than frieza now, and maybe given Cell back his tale but loose the funnel bit and loose the sideways pope hat, give him on his head in stead, a swoop or a green goblin style head shape. seriously give it some thought people! also super buu needs more love too! btw can we please get a super buu form in xenoverse? i mean the only way to be male buu is to be the fat majin buu style? and the females are small and meak? can we also give frieza a female in their race? as well. and yes for the namekians too, i know i know, but you can say they are from a different demention! it is called xenoverse.
