  • Hey everyone, an easy way to support my channel is to shop at Sweetwater using this link: sweetwater.sjv.io/9gyjrQ
    Thank you !
Here's the trick to learning chords up the neck: find a CLASSIC that stays on ONE CHORD! That gives you time to master the fretboard in REAL TIME while the song plays. "Proud Mary" is the song and today is the day - you can do this! D major chords up and down the three treble strings - you'll have them memorized before the song is done. I'll make sure you can play the whole song because I also show the other chords up the neck: A major and B minor. Now THIS is how guitar lessons should be!
A PDF for this video is available for members of my website www.song-bike.com. That's where you'll find all my PDFs and videos NOT AVAILABLE on CZcams.

Irony: in 2020, I found Jonathan and learned the PIMA method from him. After spending two years in all sorts of open tunings and capos (just exploring patterns with my right hand)….here I am again - trying to train my left hand (in standard E) with a damn pick. Many Thanks, Jonathan - for all you do!
