bruh the original development company called hudson soft was closed after being bought by konami in 2012. Nintendo didn't change anything, they just found someone else to continue the series even tho their changes to the regular formula are highly questionable
@Jalalious it changed from good and interesting stories with fun challenges and minigames to CATCH THE TOAD
Paper Mario and Mario and Luigi are still great with each installment being good (imo). Mario Party on the other hand, most main series games are pretty good, 5, 7, 8, and 9, are okay, Island Tour and Star Rush are decent, and Top 100, -e, and Advance, we don’t speak of those.

I think Mario party 9 gets too much hate. Just because it's different doesn't make it a bad game. If all the games were similar, they would have the same problem as the Nsmb games. I think that in the next Mario party, nintendo should add the traditional Mario party mode, as well as a revamped Mario party 9 mode.

It changes to much. A little change is good but not so much to destroy the concept itself of the game.
I completely agree with this. the carts were a good gimmick, and added alot more to the boards than people make out. It would of been great if the idea was more expanded on as a new official game-mode.

This was my very first Mario Party, and long before I played my second one, SMP, boy I loved this. I spent several hours playing with friends, my brother, or myself and other computers. For a long time, it was probably one of my favourite games of all time. And then I grew up and it turned out everyone in the entire universe hates it

But I'm glad they finally revered back to the original concept for Super Mario Party.
I hope maybe in a couple of years we could get Super Mario Party 2?

The only thing I actually like about Mario Party 9 is the minigame mode. I think the games featured in this mode, such as Garden Battle, Choice Challenge and High Rollers, are actually pretty clever and fun.

Well, I honestly gotta say that I've been able to enjoy both of the regular and car mechanics in the Mario Party series. Even I've played as Daisy like my main as Toadette wasn't playable and so she's my second favorite Mario character following that pink mushroom cutie.
Just like my great female cousin (my former guidance for getting into Touhou) mentioned to me before since the Touhou fangames that it's always good to try new kind of games.
i love this game its my favourite mario party i love both the boards an the minigames and the ministar/kart format is a nice change of pace from the same format from the past game that was starting to get old after 8 entries, and many of the things people critic are some of the things i prefer about this game like the dice being from 1-6 as it should be

Becoming a famous youtuber
As this was my first ever Mario party I played back in 2013, I have such fond memories of this game. Some of the music like the awards ceremony or tough enemy I absolutely love and the mini games are a blast. I still remember launch break, logger heads etc. I will admit the car gimmick is a bit odd but overall I still love this game so much.
Dude but seriously I LOVE that 9 ways to make Papa John's employees like you video you made. I come back to watch it pretty much every time I order pizza. My Mom loves it even more.
