- Welcome to another video where I’ll be comparing the Classic Makeup Bag (Allie Glines) vs Sephora Pack it All Makeup Bag- use the same amount of products I previous packed on a trip to Mexico.
While most of us are staying home these days, I feel this video will still be helpful for the future OR if you are looking for a way to store/organize your products.

I bought Allie’s bags not for storage but for every day storage of my skincare routine and everyday makeup products. They are great for this purpose because they are so sturdy. I bought three of the medium sizes and have them organized as AM skincare/PM skincare/everyday makeup. Just pull out the one I need from the bathroom closet and bam I have everything I need on counter then bam I can quickly put it back in the closet out of sight. Love love love them for this purpose. Seeing the Sephora version I definitely think the sturdy Allie bags are better for this sort of every day usage. Plus they are beautiful 🤩
That’s actually a great idea!!! I’ve been wanting to order one of the medium size ones anyway. It’s be great to have the little counter top space in my bathroom be less cluttered. I’m sure my fiancé would approve as well!

I’m so glad I came across this I couldn’t decide.
I just packed for a month and that was soooo difficult!! I use the small cups then you can stand them up.
Just received mine yesterday. I got the pink ones. They are very nice. Well made. Now if only I ever get to use them to travel. 🤞 I like being able to keep my stuff organized & corralled but accessible not strewn all over a hotel bathroom counter.
Amen to that!!! Can’t wait to be able to use mine on a trip soon!

I was debating on these two bags and I felt like the Sephora was more practical for my needs. My sister bought the Allie one and I didn't like the clear zipper for brushes and found the whole set to bulky. I loved the review thank you 😊 !!
Hi there! Yes, I agree about the clear zipper for brushes- I’m not a fan of that (I don’t remember if I mentioned that in the review). She has since released a makeup brush case that I use along with the makeup bag
I’ve purchased both sets and love them both.

It's gray with a cool purple undertone with the pink rose gold zipper and pull tabs 😊

I wish the grey one was available with silver hardware instead as it would look far more aesthetic and less rusty. I hope they introduce more colours. I would love to see this in purple and a classic red colour, even if it was just for a limited amount of time.
A purple would be a great idea- it’s my favorite color 💜💜💜. So far, they’ve come out with a soft pink shade so maybe more colors are in the future!
A mint green would make a nice addition to the regular collection, but a Christmas Plaid would make for a great limited edition!
Great video! Do you ever have issues traveling with liquid makeup in a carry on? I always check it because I’m worried they wouldn’t let me take that much liquid on a plane
Hi there! I haven’t had an issue traveling with liquid makeup in my carry on as most of my liquid products are 1fl oz (30ml) and the limit is approx 3.4oz (300ml) so foundations are usually 👍🏽👍🏽 the only thing I could see as a potential issue would be setting spray. I always travel with a travel size option to avoid any issues. It also depends on the airport tbh… Heathrow (London) can be a bit picky at times

Hi there! Yes it is! I haven’t used it as much as I normally would since travel was basically non existent in 2020 BUT took it on 2-3 mini getaways and still loving it. I’ll likely do an update soon since I’ll be taking it on my honeymoon!
This video was so informative! Thank you! 🥰 are these bags easy to clean? My current makeup bag that I want to replace is a dark color so I was never really worried about cleaning it. If I get an Allie Glines bag, I want to keep it looking pretty forever ✨
Hi there! thanks for checking out my video. So far I haven't needed to clean mine but the texture seems to indicate it would clean up well with a Magic eraser sponge - which is what I would most likely use to clean it anyway vs a spray on type of product. I like the light color because it make things easier to find/see vs a dark color or black like most other makeup bags
@@glitzbydaymakeup7803 I figured because the quality looks great and the texture from what I have seen from pics and videos looks easy to clean like you said. And true, I agree about the light color (which is why I want to switch my current one out since it is older and a dark color). Thank you!
Usually airport staff ask us to put liquid less than 100-200 ml into a small plastic zipper bag and no more than this amount
The 100ml limit is per item and the items must fit in a quart size resealable bag for carry-ons. I’ve never had an issue traveling with this amount of makeup but I do make sure to pack all other liquids (shampoo,conditioner, etc) in my checked bag. I should note that I usually travel with a checked bag therefore I have more flexibility in what I am putting in my carry-on.

@@yinyu920i__ it’s usually my setting sprays that I am taking in a travel/mini size. Most of the other makeup items are within the fluid limits so I don’t need to take travel sizes of my foundation and such. Hope that makes sense!

Do make up brushes fit into the small Allie Gline bags?
Travel size/mini brushes would fit but I don’t think most brushes would fit in the small bag. They would fit in the medium tho
Is the entire inside of each bag the vegan leather material? Or are the sides of the inside a cloth material? I am always throwing away makeup bags because they get so dirty.. At $60, I don't want to be throwing it away because the inside got stained. :/
Totally agree!! The inside is not a cloth material- it’s the same material as the exterior 👍🏼

There are limits on liquids you can bring with you. May I know how to carry a makeup bag when traveling? I don’t want to lose my makeup bag on a long trip or at the airport.
Hi there! The limit for liquid is 100ml/3.4fl oz per item- it must fit in a quart sized clear bag Most liquid fluid makeup is in 1oz bottles so I’ve never had an issue carrying my foundation, concealers, liquid lipstick, lip gloss, etc. For setting spray I do pack a travel size within the liquid limits vs taking a full size. I’ve traveled this way within the USA, to/from Mexico, UK, and parts of the Middle East. I’ve only ever had an issue (over 10+ years ago) because my perfume was in a bottle more than 100ml but it was not full.

@@glitzbydaymakeup7803 I meant like how did the Sephora one hold up 5+ years later vs AG 2 years later. Unless you haven’t used to Sephora at all since buying these. Lol just a suggestion no problem. You can also just tell me! How are they holding up? Did you do what the girl suggested and use it to keep your bathroom counter clean? If so how did the daily use affect the bags
I love Allies bags and own the large one when it first was launched. I feel it’s missing a slot on the back of it so it can hang off a carry on and there is no long thick strap as well. So I have only used it once. Bought a more versatile one off of Amazon for much less. Don’t get me wrong I love her and all her videos but the bag isn’t versatile. 🤷🏻♀️
I agree their is room for improvement- personally I would love there to be more space for my makeup brushes. I actually commented that on one of her videos a while back and she hinted there is something in the works 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️.
I’d love to know what options you found on Amazon? A popular one is by the brand ReVeal (or something like that) that I use for my free lance kit.
