Okok, so recently, my grandma’s been “fussing” me about an event that my other grandma wanted me to sing at. She was saying that it’s a marathon walk to honor our veterans and before it begins, the two of them thought it’d be something nice and beautiful to have me, a representation of the future generations of this world, and the youth, showing my respect and honor for this country I call home. I’m pretty sure that I’ll be singing it in my Native Language, and as well as the original English version. I’m super excited for it, and I’ve been using this instrumental to help me time it correctly mentally and just for some vocal practice! :))‼️

I love how the tempo is a little slower, it really allows for the singer to really show the emotion while singing. I guess what I’m trying to say is, if you are rushed to sing it, it won’t sound as good.

@@billchughes Spirit of the song, how ironic this music was originally an old English drinking song. To be sung while pissed, from the 1800's .Originally called, To Anacreon in Heaven written by John Stafford Smith.
This arrangement was done by a Slovak composer, Peter Breiner. I cannot remember when it was done or why it was done, but I remember it was used first in 2002 or 2004 for the Olympics.
