  • As I have recently started using 18650 Li-Ion batteries, I needed a good charger to safely charge unprotected cells harvested from laptops. Here's an unboxing and overview of this fantastic charger

At my Opus BT-C3100. If you press and hold the display button for 10 seconds, the display light will stay on until you cut off the power.
If you use that setting in your vids, you get better clear view on the display !

Can you squeeze a 26650 button top battery into the slots?

Um I don't have 26650s. I have 18650s as I have probably stated in the video. Considering the box says it accepts 26650s, it probably does lol.

what's the cutoff for you for dead laptop cells before you decide "most likely this isn't going to be a good cell for even low power usage"

I generally avoid cells that have been sitting below 2.5V for extended periods of time, though you can recover cells discharged to 2V, but they won't have nearly as much capacity as they're rated for.

And you've tested them all right? What does it blow up on you and ketch on fire or does it just electrocute you? I really need to know if I can get rich quick if I buy one of these.

Yeah it would cost $200-300 easily. Yeah workers here are just to high dollar and company's here have to cover all the law suits they receive from people looking to win life's lottery. China pays workers maybe $3-10 dollars a day not per hour and theirs no lawyers in China for people to be able to sue anyone. Thank God for the U.S.A. I don't know what I would do without it.

Ok, then how is the charger so bad that everyone should only listen to *your* opinion about the charger and nobody else's opinion?

      Wonder X
Works for a rival charger manufacture who doesn't like competition that all, I get it Wonder X if no one else here does.
