If you have ever picked up the wrong bag or if someone accidentally took yours, you may already mark your bags, but this serves two purposes. A bright, padded handle cover makes handling easy AND it is easy to see if it is or IS NOT your bag.
I put one of these on EACH HANDLE on my bag. Some have as many as three handles (top, side and bottom). It makes it easy to see your bag when removing it from the overhead inside the plane or as it rounds the baggage carousel.
As a former airline employee, I would like to offer some additional tips for traveling with luggage. If you check it, take a photo of it before checking it. When bags get misplaced, a description is needed and a photo is helpful.
Never put your passport, wallet, keys or other important documents in any bag that is checked, You may sometimes have to check a carry-on bag as you board a flight, so be sure these items are easy to remove and take with you if your bag is unexpectedly checked.
Inside all bags, checked or carry on, put an easy-to-see piece of paper with identification including your name, reservation number (record locator or PNR for current trip) and phone number (more than one number may be helpful).

Gette, I have a new video specifically for a Seat Belt Cushion Cover sized to fit seat belts. You use flannel for the soft feel on the outside and and fleece for padding on the inside. Check it out! Diane
