    Great spot is Belvidere. Camp there at least once a month!

    Where you went down beside the little creek river thing, go back on the highway, turn down Taranto road, straight back on the beach, you can go all the way down to Belvedere. It can get quite skinny.

    It was so good to see Belvidere again I live in Melbourne now and haven't seen the place in 40 years. I lived at Belvidere for a year when there was a commune there all those years ago. There used to be a beautiful A frame house and all sorts of hobbit houses people were living in. I used to stay in a little place there they called "the Little House on the prairie" it was right on the lake front. Thanks for the vid you brought back great memories.

    4:20 Be careful when driving close to the waters edge! Last time I was at Preston I was following a Prado and he went over a wash out. Just about rolled it. Bet he nearly shit himself! Lucky he was in front otherwise that probably would have been me!

    Mate great video, its always look to see places to check out and a couple of the other utubers I hadn't seen before so thanks I'm always watching utube from WA. What was the camera you use, was a peep of it the mirror looked very compact. Keep up the look work.

    Great video!! What phone mount and app are you using for maps? Thanks in advance.

    • @WildTouring
      @WildTouring  Před 5 lety

      Thanks mate! The mount is 'Scosche Magic Mount'. Its a magenetic mount, and is a brilliant bit of kit, has held the phone in place on some pretty savage corrugations. Im using the $50 Hema app and wikicamps. The Hema app has more detailed layers, but the Wikicamps app has more points of interests and marks for start of tracks etc.
