- This will probably be my most end-game related guide to date however let that be something interesting to look forward to for you lower level players! The Altar of Ascension was introduced to Orna along with the Origin Town Buildings update in April 2021, and initially blew a lot of late game players’ minds with the hefty 50 Mil orns cost just to build the thing! It’s four months on from its introduction to the game now so I’m confident enough with my experience of ascending to make this guide.
Ascension is effectively the Orna Developer’s current answer to end-game levelling progress. They had posted hype screenshots of a possible Tier 11 class available at level 250, however that idea was replaced with Ascension, although I wouldn’t mind seeing a Carl class at some point! I feel the current live iteration is working extremely well, offering end game players a chance of increasing their favourite class’ stats by putting in some effort and paying the required costs. This guide works for Hero of Aethric as well.

Awesome video Shab! - It's nice to shed some light on ascension for those who are new-ish to it.

The intro is great! I'd like to request more so of a guide with dealing with raiding in kingdoms as a midlevel, such as around t5-8 and how to deal with the slow creep of a bosses power. I've been averaging around 300-400k damage before the boss scaling becomes a problem as a t7 rn, and I was wondering if there was a better way to grind them down.

When should we focus on building the altar? I'm assuming after buying all the useful classes.
Btw would be nice if you included tips on how to organize the inventory/keep in your next video about tips. Like how to deal with adornments, fish, extra mats. I had a red message displaying telling me I was carrying too many items on me and the game performance could be affected. Then I realized how tedious it is to deal with adornments and such.
Hey bud I'd personally buy it after picking up all useful classes or classes you think you'll want to play yes.

Got my Realmshifter butt up to 243 and ascension level 7 at the moment. Crossing fingers that i reach level 10 with only orn bottlenecks :D

Question for you:
I'm currently deity lvl 22 ascension.
it's about ascension and the world ranking. I wonder if it just looks at your highest class or how many total lvls you have. Like I could get gilga, relm both up to lvl 10 probably for 70 million orn. That would be 20 lvls. Not sure if that is worth more than my diety to 23? See what I mean? Is it a pointless sideways or an easy up?
Hey yeah I see what you mean I'm not entirely sure how it works at the moment, for sure ascension helps your ranking but additional levelling on side classes I really couldn't tell you exactly I'm afraid.

I think orna can be an ultimate online rpg, one that we will be playin for several years, like we play dungeons and dragons in the "real world". So i think it would be a cool thing to become actual dukes when we hit endgame and we could be given new characters to play with and equip from zero, next step we have our own kingdoms with our own characters, and as a "bonus" we should be allowed to trade items amongst our characters (with a cost ). Our personal kingdoms could wage war on regular kingdoms and also make alliances .. i dont know, i just feel like this way we could have an interesting "cyclical" game thats actually appealing for players to reenter these cycles. There are some other details but that sums it up.

Once you know what class you want to play more of I'd ascend that? Keep it simple. If you decide you prefer another class later just ascend that one after?
