Also. Folks should remember that Leap (magic Leap) is one of the key founders of midjourney and the ai diffusion space. (Matters when they talk about the Metaverse. As assets are being built for it in the ai art space)
Magic Leap is a massive disappointment. They went corporate and it's gross. No one wants VR or AR in the corporate world. It's for gaming plain and simple.

I used to go to E3 for many years during my time at Bioware and man, those trade shows are so exciting!
This technology could work at the Arcade entertainment centers, if there are any left in your town. I doubt it will take off for home entertainment. It's kind of like 3D TVs.
I had the Bhaptics tactsuite x40 for 2 years ish. Got rid of it. I love what the company doing and they make good stuff. But without full developer support … it’s not there. It’s essentially just a subwoofer on your chest. Games that have full dev support … which is very few …. Are amazing. Really amazing. And the list is growing. But I want people to pay attention -- all these features they tout WILL NOT WORK in most games unless the developer has explicitly spent most of their energy and resources developing with bhaptics in mind. Again. The list of companies doing this IS growing. But it still has a ways to go before I can recommend these
VR ruins your hairstyle 💇♂️ haha😂. The biggest issue with VR is friction though, there’s a lot of prep required to enter VR. Even with quest 2 it is a bit of work. The glasses type is probably the best.

If nerds had trouble getting a girlfriend before, putting on those bhaptics yellow kitchen gloves on will ensure that they die sad and alone. There's only so much money people will spend for a glove fitted with a buzzer, not to mention the effort of putting them on to get into VR. I'm tired of all these exaggerated sales pitches from biased individuals. I want to hear from every day people using them in normal everyday VR applications.
Can we please stop using "metaverse" as a standin for "XR"? They are not the same thing for one, and using metaverse poisons the entire industry with every action Meta takes as a company.
