    You hit the nail on the head on this one. I've experienced all of that...even the acne on my current run of prednisone. Honestly all the bad experience I don't notice it being too bad coz the good parts of it works sooooo well and makes me feel "normal".

    I was on Prednisolone right through Christmas and New Year and literally hovered up any food I could get my hands on! So I put on weight but that was what I wanted as I'd lost so much and didn't look like myself. So I'm grateful to them for that! I was quite lucky with side-effects. Apart from the hunger I just got a few spots (which are still lingering). I found they made me really hyper, and I would laugh at the stupidest thing. I remember seeing something on Facebook and just laughing at it for 10 minutes! And it wasnt really that funny which made me laugh even more!

      Neil Bawden haha!! No way!! How funny!, it just goes to show how differently they effect each person, they had the opposite effect on me , I’d prob find it funny now 😂😂 x

      @ItsaHardCrohnsLife  Před 4 lety +1

      I'm so glad they are helping you!, I have often wondered this aswell, steroids stop your natural adrenal gland from producing its self while your taking them and I think that mimics hormone type symptoms. Xxx

      Hiya, Peter okay let me put your mind at rest straight away , so I have just come off prednisolone again due to my recent flare , I ended up taking them for 8 months non stop and wow I looked so different looking in the mirror. my face had gone so big. And I gained so much weight I honestly thought it was never gonna go ,then once I had been off them for 3 months I was back to normal. I can promise it will go and your appetite will also go back to normal. It may just take a while for them to get out your system but once they are the moon face will be no longer I promise xx I noticed drinking water helped flush it out quicker xx
