Nice review! Really interesting to hear your perspective. Informative stuff 🙌
Thank you!
I abosolutely love your channel. Lol So funny. Refreshing, especially with the sarcasm! #subbed
Thanks for taking the time to watch Doc!
Good takes. I’m another one of those people looking at the x100vi for video. 🤙🏽 It’s the IBIS + built-in ND for me. There is literally nothing else on the market like it. 35mm is also my favorite focal length.
If it ticks your boxes, definitely go for it. If you’re shooting long form stuff, might worry about the overheating in the higher codecs/resolution.
@@omidacademy have you experienced overheating in 4K 10 bit?
Hello, great video!! Congratulations.
Have you noticed softness in the images?
I have a new video coming out this weekend- I actually used it with much greater focus, and I think the RAWs can look softer or noisy at times, but the RAW looks pretty darn good.
Have you watched the photo review yet? Warning- you might be triggered: czcams.com/video/EMHJ83l0vrg/video.html
I watched that one first actually, had me chuckling. I was only looking at the Fuji for its video and IBIS capability, your review answered my questions of that front. Thanks!
Thanks. how is the onboard mic. similar to iphones? Trying to replace my iphone with this for videos
Yeh it's similar- it does have the regular features to eliminate wind and peaking
Great review! I love your jokes, just kidding 😅 I just ordered the Fujifilm X-100VI for wedding videos. I'm going to use it on a very small Gimbal and in tight places. I also have the X-T3 & X-T5
Honestly would love to hear updates on how it goes, along if you upload any films that have that cut in so we can see if we can easily spot it (most of it obviously won't, but still fun)
Love your idea. Would love to know how it works out.
Will do
I love using my trusty or maybe a bit untrusty due to the low battery capacity of my x100s still. 😅 It's good for both street and being an unintrusive documentary/event (as a guest/participant) shooter. If the battery life is really an improvement, I guess the x100VI will work well for my usual use case. 😅
I completely will yield that for street photography, there may be not be better choices out there. You can obviously upgrade to a Q3 but that's a huge price jump and not worth it for most of us.
Intersting. But the x100vi is not a pro camera. While there are many pro features, a pro photographer would probably use it as a C or D cam for some added fun photos and videos. My perspective, this is versatile do it all prosumer camera. I've seen amazing landscape, street and portraits done with this camera, video is probably it's second ability. So in the end, it depends what a person wants from their camera.
What do you mean by pro?
@@kris4637 for the most part, interchangeable lenses, probably full frame, though my xt4 is amazing for portraits on a pro level. The fixed lens can be restrictive especially a 35mm. I would generally prefer 50mm, but that’s just me.
Another nice review, thank you! I won't waste my money on this new hype monster, maybe buy a go pro instead LOL
Try out the Osmo pocket 3 if you create content= the ease and efficiency makes up for the lack of quality on that one
Ah, Tik Tok's favourite camera finally has video and IBIS. Since Tik Tok is a platform where people film themselves. Can you film yourself and see the screen at the same time? Finally overcoming the phone camera Achilles' heel of not being able to see yourself while you're shooting and simultaneously use the best lens. 😂
Maybe it's time for a retro inspired Fujifilm compact video camera like the G7X or ZV1.
Haha, well, if the market calls for it, then it will emerge, right?
@@omidacademy that's a hopeful spirit, considering Fujifilm's recent history. 😂
Hahah
ngl looks like iphone video
Ngl, not even a recent IPhone
@@omidacademyare you saying better than recent iPhone or worse
R5 are garbage hot garbage
Please tell me where I can pick this "garbage" up? Thanks in advance.
To be honest, buy a 'top' mobile phone instead.
I think 99% of people would not be able to tell the difference between the photos from this, the latest Samungs or Iphones.
@@omidacademy Yup, I used to shoot with my fuji ex3 but now I used my iPhone for street photography.
Any lens modifiers or special apps like Blackmagic?
