It seems like Oppo specifically wanted their phones to be compared with Samsung's. Everyone who has done this comparison has used the S24U.
Why nobody tests in-sensor zoom! Oppo's 50 Mp aren't about size, but 2x lossless zoom, so a 10x vs 12x zoom range would be very very nice 8-)
Even worse, nobody talks about using RAW in general. Everyone is so fixated about "what phone camera looks best in those often mediocre photo comparisons".
If anyone would really care, they would want to know what's possible with those images in raw. The normal photomodes are good for some trickery stuff like night shot, but for good or important photos I always shoot in RAW since the Samsung S8 and quickly edit them on the mobile lightroom app.

Got my s24 ultra yesterday! Incredible phone. Few micro stutters sometimes sadly but way better than ever before and its futurstic. They've done well
Micro stutter? The only time mine did that was during setup, which was due to the app installs, etc.. otherwise, it’s buttery smooth. I did restart it after the setup.. that might help

I'd take the OPPO, way way less oversharpened images, and ColorOS looks so much better than OneUI, not only that but it's way smoother as well.

@sercan272727 Sure, but sensor size is not the only metric for a good camera system. This video is intentionally deceiving, mentioning the strengths of the Oppo while ignoring Samsung's. Just look at the HDR video comparison where you can clearly see the S24U is the brighter of the two, yet he is claiming otherwise. All I'm saying is that this video is sponsored, so it should not be taken seriously.

What Dolby Atmos setting did you have the S24U set to though? Mine sounds great on the auto setting for general use or music for music listening.
Love the Oppo's more comfy design and at least it comes with a charger in the box and a 100 watts at that, unlike Samsung who's following the iPhone 12 trend. 😅

5x vs 6x is almost the same. And they were very close in quality, maybe a slight advantage to the Oppo
That's cause Samsung's using AI to sharpen it's photos, but in a normal competition, the Oppo will smash the Samsung.

One big problem with the oppo phone that he doesn't mention is the lack of critical bands that are used in us from the carriers. Especially with Verizon and att. Verizon does not really work with phones that are international models. Att won't let you use on there unless they are certified by their network. Witch, not surprisingly, the oppo not on there. Tmobile is the best carrier to support this phone problem, which does not support n71.
This video's main target audience isn't Americans. It's more about Asian and India . That's the marketing tactic Chinese phone makers have used for a long time. Chinese phone makers know that American wouldn't buy their stuff already.
I have ATT on Huawei p30 pro, works great. And I have s24 ultra, I'm very disappointed, sensors of cameras are very noisy

If Oppo wants to be serious in N. America, they need to include Android Auto AND ALL of the wear that can be used. As it is, it's a gimped phone.
They have to release a global version for that to work. Otherwise not possible with a China rom.
YES, I was sad as heck to find out that when I returned to the USA and tried using Android Auto that it did not work. Also the whole thing with notifications and other small things. Buying an S24 as I speak
No they won't & they avoid N.America market especially US market because of the what happened to Huawei, even the Xiaomi Mi13 series have global version they still not available in N.America because of that.
1) Can it capture pictures of moving subjects(pets, children etc) mostly blurry free?
2) Which phone is lighter?
The oppo x7 ultra is much better for capturing faster subjects and is lighter than the Samsung

Some sellers preinstall Google. U do not have only android auto. And u have to check if all GSM bands u need are supported. Apart from that there is some bloatware to uninstall. Not all languages are there too, but There is English for example. I use this phone in Europe (Poland) with no major problems. In fact I's sellign S23 Ultra cause Oppo is waaay better.

I would love to buy this phone, they are selling it in Kenya but i dont know how to check the gsm bands and i dont even know what that is, so it makes it difficult. I wish someone made a youtube video just about that, the technicalities of buying a chines only phone, what to do, etc
I've use X7 Ultra, for this phone you just need to go to setting>additional setting>google setting>switch on google mobile service>google>proceed log in google account and the phone will automatically download the google playstore.
The viewing angle difference was very surprising. The Oppo looked a lot better than the Samsung there. Kinda surprising how bad the s24 looked in comparison
Not really , I think this is not uncommon when anti reflective process is added to the display , in certain circumstances it looks noisy if it is anything like anti reflective I have seen before.
Samsung should have made it an option , for that reason alone I wouldn’t buy the Galaxy.
@@mikldude9376 Last year's s23 was basically the same with viewing angles so I think it's an issue with all screens that Samsung uses. The Oppo is just superior in that regard.

I went back from iPhone 12PM to iPhone 14PM, and back to Samsung S24 Ultra because of the flat screen, I would deeply consider OPPO if they have the flat screen

You got to be kiddin? Or blind. Oppo IS like 10% brighter on the movie. I did not have S24U in hand, but i DID S23 Ultra. And oppo was a lot brighter too. BUT, w have to admit that this non reflective coat S24 U has does the job! SOmetimes the brightness is not that importatnt, as no reflections make it clear enugh.

Its noticeably brighter on the S24 Ultra (bottom one is S24 Ultra) but i do agree with one thing you said, the anti-reflective coating is AMAZING on the S24 Ultra. Though you are incorrect, on the video the S24 Ultra is noticeably brighter than the Oppo.
How many years of software update support for the oppo?

Can we even get the Oppo in the United States?
I believe it's currently only available in china due to a dispute with Nokia. I live in the UK and use the Find X5 pro as my daily driver and I'm bummed because I can't upgrade to the X7 Ultra. Fingers crossed in time this will change.
No oppo is not sold in the us. You have to import them also it might not work on the carriers in the us because of the missing us band.

Last year's Xiaomi 13 Ultra already had four rear 50mp cameras -- so Oppo is not the first to put this out.
The camera system is really nice. I wish Samsung went the same way.

Please, install GCAM (AGC) on both devices and make new video to compare the full capabilities of both devices. In current case, the cameras and apps are compared.
GCAM will give much more benefits and will exclude the influence of the different camera applications.

I have been an Oppo user for many years. I can attach the photo for you all, but I think this video is paid by Oppo.
Will it be a photo from X7 Ultra? Cause I have one, and it is far better than Samsung. Better white balance, better shutter/processing speed (try taking a photo of moving object in midlight environment, ba, in bright environment as well). More options to use ight and shadow play in photos (samsung always brighten darks and cuts top of the light). And it is grainy as hell.

Those Chinese phones are so expensive that they can't release international version. I prefer the display on the Oppo. Oppo is the best in class when it comes to display. Their Reno 10 Pro Plus I have has a better display than my S24 Ultra
Some Samsung fanboys getting upset that it's a sponsored video and Maxtech likes the Oppo. Apple & Samsung should be worried as the Oppo flagship is a few hundred pounds cheaper. Maxtech didn’t acknowledge the S24U stylus, AI features, or the fact you can't use Android Auto on an import. However, he's still correct in saying the Oppo is an impressive flagship with excellent cameras and it's still an early update stage. Some people seem upset by that?

This comparison is irrelevant because the Apple is probably not even a global phone, so it'll be extremely hard to get it to work confidently in the US. But I do think it wins in the charging capabilities. Also you can't run third party launchers on it.

OnePlus used to be my my go to brand for phones but they have been making some seriously ugly devices since the 11 and this Oppo (Same Company as OnePlus) is no exception. All that wasted space for the sake of an in your face camera bump is a strange design choice. I think this phone is hideous imo.

Cameras and postpro is WAY better in Oppo. However this antireflective coating S24U has is something I would like to have in my Oppo, as it is simply brilliant. But,... I always put some additional protective glass on my smyrtphones. So I guess the antireflectioncoating is lost then.
