    Great video Chris! I've been having this device for over a year and if anyone wants to actually know if it is worth it, then I will tell you. This device has been with me for a long times and it helped me know what repairs I need before going to a mechanic or trying to fix it. It is an amazing product. I recommend you buy it. There was only one thing that I'm not sure if he got it from the premium or not but I never knew about the value check. I will check if it is for free and then come back and tell everyone. I definitely learned more stuff in this video though.

    Thanks for the overview. I have a question, you mentioned that once you’ve setup Fixd it will continue to monitor your vehicle and let me know scheduled maintenance and any problem my SUV may have. How is that done? Are you saying that Fixd can monitor my vehicle even if it’s not plugged in?
    Just asking because my husband recently purchased one for me and I have a check engine light and a few other warning lights on. I’m taking it back to the dealership in the morning. Anything you can tell me would be deeply appreciated.

    @chadolive1 Před rokem +1

    I just got three of these in the mail, a week ago I got a blue driver OBD2, and without opening these packages just after watching this video I think blue driver might be better, because it will read codes it will break down with that code is it will give you a link to Amazon for parts for that code it will tell you how much it is to fix, and that's just by itself no premium service to hook up to, it does that already tells you about Hyundai's which I got what's rare what to do and mechanics near you. So you got to pay to figure out what's wrong with your car how much it will cost and fix, I think just paying $104 versus $59, I would rather pay $100 for and have access to all the information you say you get with the premium which goes on for however long I don't know for $104 one time. Kind of thinking about returning these. My blue driver I'm happy with it has many other in-depth things that mechanics can use hooks up to Bluetooth the same way. I guess just asking for a response back from you I got these three at a bit of a deal, I would ask you when I go to plug this thing into my car if there are codes, or anything going wrong with the vehicle will the sensor tell you right then and there?. Or does it wait for something to go wrong, then advise you. Maybe give me the once over again or I'll watch the video what the purpose of the premium is I know I paid 1099 for a lifetime warranty I don't know what that includes, but if I'm going to give this out as a gift what kind of device do that would be useful to somebody by itself as soon as you plug it in?. Do you only find out how your car is or how it's running or what might be a problem a code if you pay for premium? Tell me what I can expect from just using the app by itself please thank you

    Is there a way to view live data from the o2 sensors?
    Such as values being presented to the ecm.
    I have a check engine light on in my 2000 ford ranger. Oreillys auto parts says code is p1131 lean on bank 1
    I installed brand new y pipe as mine was broke in half on bank 1.
    But I had no code with the broken pipe) But I have a code after new pipe instillation. Which is strange.
    And I want to see if my o2 is burned out on that side.

    • @mikeroberts7520
      @mikeroberts7520 Před 2 lety +1

      It's a Ford Ranger, those engineers that designed it were trolling owners with diagnostics and warning lights. Just pull the fuse for dash indicators or put a piece of tape over the light. It'll still run like new after a million miles and the body and frame is just a corroded pile of rust held together with duct tape, zip ties, and a prayer if you live in the northeast rust belt. Every older B2000/Ranger I have experienced has been reliable and tough, absolutely legendary for reliability and build quality.

    Will this tool cause any codes or warnings to come up on the screens in the car? Many newer cars( such as my 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio) have several computers and sensors that do a lot of monitoring, adjusting and recalibrating, not to mention at times requiring periodic software updates, even removing the battery will cause codes and warnings to come up that need to be reset. I’m interested in this extra diagnostic tool, but I’m curious to know if it has caused any issues with newer cars.

    I just love how this device is making mechanics job even less profitable them charging a lot of money to scan your car goes into the pay check but yet the job is needed and pepole ripping you off they are bad pepole, but 99% are not money stealers. they just like working on cars and want to support themselves.
    Oh yeah love we make devices to save money on cars but yet some buy the new iPhone each year. . .
