Great racing. We had a toter race back in the day at my local track. I won the race in my 77 el Camino that I pulled my car with Ran 9.82 at 82 mph in the eighth. Was some of the most fun racing I've ever done. Lol
In no offense that place needs to expand into a future quarter mile track just to see great races for the fans. And future NHRA events with other tracks closed for life down the road.😢😢😢😢😢
You do realize that this racetrack was originally a 1/4 mile dragstrip? Back in it's dying days, the original AHRA ran national events here (this was before the Spokane AHRA days). If I recall, Tom McEwen was one of the last funny car eliminators. A few years ago, I asked Tommy Ivo if he ever raced here....his response was yes, mostly because he recalled the cars disappearing down the hill just after the lights.
