I like your videos showing us a local view of the places, it really helps those of us that are thinking about relocating... Especially those of us that are not interested in the tourist lifestyle but prefer a more laid back and local connection
As Panamanian I thank you for showing the real Panama. We are a small country but kind and friendly. Welcome and enjoy the simplicity of life ❣️🤗🇵🇦🇺🇲🇨🇦
Hi, watching your video and I recognized a guy selling stuff, a vendor guy. "204" His name is Charlie...with the yellow hat on. He's a great older guy. A grandfather. He speaks pretty darn good english and if you need anything he will and can help you out. A really decent dude!
Hi Jim. I know you left Panama quite a while ago. My girlfriend and I recently visited the Azuero and had a great vacation! Had an amazing fishing trip off of Arenal. Spent time in Las Tablas and Pedasi. Following your videos helped us plan this trip. Thank you.
I just discovered your channel and really appreciate it. I will be moving to Playa El Uverito the first of May and can not wait. I visited there a couple months ago and found a little apt right on the beach. I walked all those streets that you show in Las Tablas while staying at the Hotel Presidente.
Thanks so much for this, Jim! I am planning a move to Panama within the next two years and I love seeing warm sunny places near the beach rather than always being steered towards the mountain towns of Chiriqui. lol
Jim, thanks for this insightful presentation. You are close to the population and your approach in down to earth. Keep up the good work. Just an FYI, when you walk in front of an altar you need to bow and make a sign of the cross. It is a sign of respect.
Very enjoyable to see Las Tablas again, funny thing is I met the guy selling the baseball caps while waiting for the bus back to Chitre, a few years back.
I like the videos about”real life”...I hope to get to Panama in the future, sooner than later.COVID has not helped travel plans. Thanks for keeping it real!
WOW! finally a video that show the real thing and not a sugar coated relocation tour sales ads, i can get info for visas easy, but seeing it like it is is good, and compared to DR, it is clean...
I have been living in South America for a few years and found some videos similar to this talking about Panama.... the more I look into the more it seems like the place to be. I ended up getting stuck in Cartagena on my way up to Panama because of covid. I have been living here for a year now but in the next few months I am planning to make my way to Panama. On paper and based on the research I have done and videos I have watched I think it could easily be my forever destination.... but you never really know till you see for yourself. Thanks for your videos Jim!
I'm coming in 2024 and Las Tablas is top of my list. Got to escape the leftist progressive changes coming too many too fast in Canada for this soon to retire single female. For years I quipped "I wish I'd been born in the tropics" and lately I've caught myself saying " wish I could go back to a time when things were simpler, like they were in the 70's before technology". Panama has it all, and doesn't have the things I'm escaping and hopefully never will. I can't wait, vibrating with excitement.
Hi my name is Robert Shepherd I am with my wife from the US she's from Chicago I was born here in Panama Canal Zone my mom still live here we like the real Panama experience my wife being handicapped she's in a wheelchair we can share some input how we could get to sharesome experience
Jim I did not see one two-wheeled vehicle in the video. I would like to ask you, or anyone, if there are motor scooters for rent or if there are places that sell small motorcycles there.
@@jimspanamaadventure6522 We just bought a lot over looking Playa Los Destiladeros in Pedasi. We are coming down next week to close on the property and start interviewing builders to build our new home. I appreciate your video's.
@@spain1998 thank for watching if I can help in any way let me know. Don’t hesitate to call me and let’s have coffee. Email me for my WhatsApp number jamescraig1@hotmail.com.

Weather looks really nice.
Great video. There aren't many high-quality videos about Panama's provinces (countryside), so I definitely appreciate these!

You sound like the kind of person that will get here and complain about "all the brown people." We don't want you here.
Thanks Jim!, I enjoyed your video

How's dealing with the heat and humidity? How is the infrastructure?
Is everything within walking distance or do you need car to get around
Say las tablas again.
Is that the way it is?
I can still tend the rabbits?
Do you take your shoes off before entering church?
