Excellent! This is a nice upgrade. Three big things here... checking the remaining battery percentage, reducing the max power and the preset cruise are all welcome improvements. Great to see that you guys are still working to refine and improve the products. I use the existing cruise feature a lot and this will allow me to dial in the perfect cruise setting every time without looking or guessing. Nici will be enjoying the ability to reduce the max power being a lighter weight rider.

suggest to be able to change throttle limit easier by 5% increments to make it more like an efoil.

Our Assist Plus battery box screen somehow changes from percentage to voltage while we're out riding (and flailing while learning). Can the controller cause this change, e.g., by some random set of key presses?

I’m from Germany and Travel by plane für Airlines, don’t like Paris and Akkus because of Fire so it’s not Allowed to take them on Bord I would buy Gen2 so Did I Get Trouble with your batteries?

Is there any plans of porting this to the assist?
The electronics of the Assist are not compatible and are unable to provide the telemetry data required
Mine isn't working. I have a gen 1, is it too old? I can get into the menu and cycle thru 9 options I think. I stop at cruise on/off but when I press the throttle trigger nothing happens. I have also pressed the power button with ther throttle trigger and it just scrolls down to the next option.
hey! the Gen1 systems don't have the ability to access the same telemetry data as the Gen2 systems or some of the newer Gen1 systems.
If you want to double check you can email support@foildrive.com with the firmware number that flashes when you turn the screen on.

Hi guys does the controller need any maintenance after salt water use ?
Just a really good rinse out with fresh water is all that's required. Submerging in a bucket of fresh water a few times and shaking out the water is best.
Looks like you can only set one speed for cruise control?
You can change the Cruise Control percentage in the menu function but when in operation you can only access the one pre-set value at the moment
