you need a 3k stall with a locked diff lol
It's got a 3600 stall
Its an 8.8, they're are cheap and there are great recipes to make it work. When all else fails or you're poor; clean, preheat, and mig her shut. Ford still makes carriers, and there's a few hundred thousand spares in the junkyards so don't get too sentimental.

@@ChiefDbo you should be able to order new from Ford or another vendor. As a business we source through atech, but for you that may be summit. I believe it's m-4204-f318c but be sure to check axles ND etc match.
can just weld it back together if ya got a shop around that can pass 340 amps thru a rod... I had an axle brake plowing snow, had it welded back together... 8 passes on a 1/4 mile long driveway twice a month all winter, first gear the whole way. -25 outside, but the motor heats up in no time. the 4.6 is a good one.

Those cars can be very fast, I'm sure you know that though, my uncle had one with super charger on it, and Olds aurora with a similar set up
You need some turbos
Try backing up a few feet and then putting it in drive that should get both tires to spin. Always worked for me sometimes would take a couple tries but it works to get both tires goin
no..just no. Thats not how a differential works sir. If there is a bias, and his differential has no limiting factor (torsen, clutchpack, weld, etc) then you will only see one tire spin. Its physics. Like literally path of least resistance. He increased friction, now the diff has to overcome that without bias, and its unlikely. :)

Standard differential? No lsd? One wheel peel is to be expected.
She'll spin both with my street tires but the radials are too sticky
