Where the hell is 3100 lbs? I used to race a similar size road race car that was near a thousand pounds lighter. And that had 4 wide wheels as well as brakes and suspension. This is as much a street car as a Nascar is!
I always wonder that too. The weight is probably all in the massive axles and engine or they have ballast placed on the car some where to meet weight rules
I remember when funny cars were running 250mph in the true quarter mile 1320 feet, not 1000 feet and definitely not the eighth mile. on fuckin 28.5 x 10.5 street radials.it was getting crazy 15 years ago,it's insane now.proves that u don't have to have 12000hp to hit 300 mph in the true quarter.and u don't have to build your motor every single round.just check the laptop and tweak.this racing is 1000 times betterthan the NHRA events I chased around since the mid to late 70's.these guys can literally bump some timing and drive them home . I'm fuckin loving every1320 video ever made.they root for everyone and wish everyone well. best site in the world , hands down.

Jose Coreas a taller tire works out to a taller gear ratio, so if you have the power you can actually increase true top speed by using a taller tire
