- Our sows are VERY pregnant! Today I have to get the pigs moved around into separate pens and get the farrowing pen ready. Then an update on our little vegetable garden, a calf check on the cattle, and a visit with the laying hens and broiler chickens.

My dad always told us that the reason he had a garden was to have something for the kids to do and stay out of trouble!! It usually worked, by the time it was done, we were too tired for trouble
Hi im jd inee for pig
I really like the looks of your pigs. You really have a nice crosses. The color, the long and thick bodies and the shorter legs are really nice. They have nice temperament too... I wish more people kept pigs as nicely maintained as you do. Such nice and spacious pens. Can't wait to see all the pretty colors in the piglets.

Have you met the preeminent farmer in the area? Yes, he's truly a man out standing in his field!
😄
So happy to see that you got back into the garden and gave us a little vegetable content. Hope you have a great harvest this year!
Really looking forward to piglet season again. They are so cute and the running always make me smile. "Run Run Run Run"
we only farrowed pigs once and we used 2" of clean sand. It seemed to work pretty good for us. My Dad always believed in animals giving birth outside whenever he could. My mom never agree. Thanks Pete this was fun.
Hey Pete i loved your Smoke on the water bit.
I love seeing the baby's piglets. Yes, fresh grown chicken are the best.
It's always a pleasure to watch your videos. My son and I are cutting hay today, so between the times of checking each field, delivering water and relieving my son for lunch, I watched as much as I could, until I finished it. I enjoyed watching you and your opinion. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week.
Pete, I don't remember if I've ever told you how much I adore your farm's logo.
Always like baby season and what what's better to go along with that is Saturday Marketing, Love it All.Hope for the best for you Pete and farm
As soon as I heard the bell, I hurried to my phone. I didn't want to miss this video. I was not disappointed. Soon there will be young ones on the farm. Always a joy to see all the animals. 👍 Ok I got me with the single joke. I thought I was serious. Ok good one. All the married ones lived.😂😂😂. Till next time. Vee and family.✌️🙂👋.
Singlehandedly the most coupled to humor. Thanks Pete.
Pete, Wow those pigs are huge. Really liked this video. Can't wait for all the new babies.

Good morning Pete! Wouldn’t be a great Sunday morning without one of your videos! Farms looking great thanks for the tour.
I can see why the boar is a good breeder, he puts most bulls to shame. Lol
Hi, I’m not Pete and my garden is a flop this year lol. I will just live my garden life vicariously through you Pete!
I'm definitely not a gardener. I garden vicariously through "This is my H-E-B" commercials. Bumper crops EVERY year! 🌞
I've struggled with my garden also this year! We are having an unseasonably cold spring on the West coast of Canada
Another Great Sunday Video Pete, I was wondering how Red and the crew were doing, now I know, can't wait for the litters. to see the new piglets, Let's hope Red does not lay on any out of this batch to come. Sad but a fact of raising Pigs. I really like your idea of the heat lamp and partition in the corner to keep them away from Mom when she lays down. And the concrete floors make perfect sense to me. One of the problems with dirt floor is they will rut up a rock that's ten feet down!! ha ha. if it's in there they will find it and bring it to the surface. Thanks for another great video Pete. ECF
The farm is looking good a lot better than most around here in Texas we hit 104 yesterday
Good morning Pete. Watching all your videos from southeast Arizona sure makes me and my wife jealous for how green your farm gets this time of year. Plus all the rain. Thanks for all the great videos
Have a good day Pete thanks for sharing your time with the world
When I was younger we had pigs too. Our pen and stalls were make shift. It had concrete a raised wood deck and of course plenty of mud. I built my house 20 years later on the same property and tomatoes grew up on their own for a long time after the pigs were gone
Those last piglets were the cutest! I can't wait to see the new additions. Not sure what camera you use, but the color on your videos is just beautiful, always!
THANK YOU Pete , for the update !
GOD BLESS !!!
I enjoy seeing new piglets; they are so cute. I really liked watching the haying process. 🐷🐖
My grandma Mamie had a garden she cooked Wilted Lettuce was amazing. Great video your farm seems so peaceful. Nice to see you today.
Your scaled down garden is very nice and simple. Can't wait to see the new babies.
Good luck with all your birthing, hope you have great survival success. All is looking good so far! Have a great day.
Good Show Pete….I loved it and I look forward to the piglets and calf’s!!!
Great to see things coming along so well. We used to have a bigger garden but now we just have some nice tomatoes and some raspberry bushes. Thanks Pete.
Looks like the sows will be giving you a lot of piglets. Hopefully they are healthy and stay out of mama's way.
The farm is looking good. I scaled my garden back this year. I took a trip for a few weeks when I normally would be starting cucumbers and such, and our weather has been all over the place, so I didn't really get the gardening bug I guess. I will hopefully have a good amount of tomatoes and just enough cucumbers and peppers.
Hi,my husband so enjoys watching your videos. He grew up on a farm and the first 20 years of our marriage we farmed in Manitoba Canada . My husband now is in his eighty’s and has severe dementia/Alzheimer’s and your mixed farming videos help to keep him engaged and busy for short periods of time several times a day. Thank you for sharing your day via video with us.
Another great video sounds like you have it all planned and running well prayers to you and your family
can't wait to see all the little ones arrive at the farm! great video love the farm tours.
Pete your always a pleasure to watch. Thank you and may the lord Bless you and yours.
First, you’re sow looks really nice & I Hope everything goes well with her birthing process and none of the piglets are killed❣️❣️We had a concrete floor in our barn for the versing animals and like you wake up a small amount of bedding on the floor, for the same reason!! Also, we nailed a board up just enough for the little big lights to get under and away from your mother because those cells are big and way a lot and while they don’t mean to lay on the babies it does tend to happen and especially if she still birthing from the first pig to the last pig… She gets uncomfortable & cantankerous!!
Next, we had a salad it was so big… She was a Hamp (Black with white stripe for those who aren’t familiar),
& she would be the biggest Sal of all❣️We were just sure she was going to have the most pigs and ask kids would have Bets about how many she would have..The first year she had one very big pig and my dad was very disappointed. Second year same thing; the third year when it happened again…She and her pig we’re loaded up and immediately taken to the Sell Barn as she was breaking Our bank of profits.!!
Sandi Brock farms has a Ewe Called:
“ Big Mama”..And there are many pictures of her w/ her SUPER-WIDE LOAD Just before she delivers. She is twice size or more of any of the other sheep. And every time she has
ONE BIG LAMB!❣️❣️❣️❣️Big Mama is one of Sandi’s favorite Ewes as She is such a sweetheart and always comes up to Sandi and wants to be petted and loved on!! I don’t know what she’ll decide to do this year if it happens again. She is a very good mother that’s for sure.
You really have a lot of nice animals & I like that you try new things. I find your videos very educational and interesting. And your farm always looks nice not necessarily perfect but it looks like a farm that is taken care of like ours was… Not looking to get an a Magazine but keeping things mowed and put away and parked nicely as much as you could !! I am a big fan of raised flowerbeds and garden beds especially as we get older❣️❣️❣️
When I grew up on the farm we had well over 4 acres of Garden crops that needed to be taken care of for family and then also an orchard. There were times where we complain because we didn’t want to do the work but we never complain about the wonderful produce that was available to us all year round. It was a lot of fun canning with Mom, and I really love going out to the garden in the evening in the summertime when it had cooled off and listening to the sound of the hall cutting through the black soil and the rhythm of multiple people going at the same time my father had an exceptional strong cut and angle into that garden and for me, that was a great time and he was in the garden with us, And of course Mommy, too.. many years later, they told me they were outside in the garden alone after dinner/supper and told us kids we didn’t have to go which of course we gave them no argument… And the reason they did that was so that they could have quiet time to talk about important business but also to get away from 12 kids and have “GROWN-UP” time💕💕💕💕💕❣️❣️They always hold hands and kiss details are in front of us kids and that was the best gift they could’ve given us is showing their love. We had a wonderful upbringing and I love the farm… I don’t think I got to say it on another video but you were out with the cows and you had to moved them, And you were talking about you just love listening to the sound of the cattle eating the grass. I always enjoy seeing cows on the hillside as I always thought it was such a beautiful scene there a dark color against the green grass!!❣️❣️❣️ but my other favorite thing was when I lived in Kansas, I was going out to my father-in-law‘s Wheatfield I’m just standing along the edge of the wheat fields and listening to the wheae
Cont’d: Love listening to the sound of the wheat swaying back-and-forth in the wind😊♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🌈
@@sueupham2519 Thank You sue, for your kind words. A lot of people made fun of us being such a big family but we are very close still to this day and the joy continues year after year♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ God bless you and take care❣️❣️
Looks great Pete, Hillary you work hard. Have a great day.
Thanks for the tour/update on the farm animals. Like your garden too!
Love your farm, Pete. Keep us up to date on your garden throughout the year. My garden is similar and I could use some good tips on different growing methods. I grow huge tomatoes and train them to climb as you said. Idaho's climate is much different but the growing technic is similar. Thanks for the tour.
Watch Self Sufficient Me, he's an Aussie but a lot of americans watch him, also Epic Gardening, he's American. Both fantastic for gardening tips and info. SSM really a great teacher and infectious attitude.
I didn't realize how much work is involved I'm a city guy just go to the store and it's done I would love to have my kids come visit you with me even my wife and we could help out and learn a thing or two take care and thank you
Im still enjoying your videos Pete
Thanks for the tour, love your videos Pete, you give this old farm boy something to look forward to!,
Farm is looking great!
Black Krim and Cherokee Purple are two of our favorites. Brown’s Yellow Giant and Sunset’s Red Horizon round out our favorites for tomato sandwiches and salads.
So great to see a smile on your face. God bless and keep up the good work.. JR
You’ve got a nice farm Pete! I like it.
I'm looking so forward to seeing the piglets! I love it when you say "run, run, run, run!" and they run and hide...so funny
Do ff
great video, thank you Pete. good luck with Red farrowing
A while back you said you would build a waterer for the pig’s gate, it would definitely help keep the pen cleaner. Love your videos keep them coming Pete!
I enjoy watching American farmers planting corn making hey I can smell a marvelous but they're too especially good Farms yours is one and Country Acres is one you guys always have a plan you're always working you're always doing something to improve your lot I love it and you don't complain
Chorus of NOOOO's today! Right as you went out to look at the cows an ad popped up extolling Beyond Meat Jerky... YUKKKK!!! You have to be like the Gambler- "Know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em" It's a ballet all right and you & Hilarie are the maestros. Our heat index is 108 today, so the guys have agreed not to whine and to wear their big boy pants. (It's good for 'em commented one Mom) We're overseeing about as much garden space as you showed, one day a week, so we have to get after it. Broilers coming in August...
Sure enjoy every show , thank you for taking all the time and effort do do it .
Thank you, cannot wait to see the new piglets😍!
Wonderful update. Everything and every being looks healthy and happy. Thanks, Pete

Great video. I always enjoy watching your videos. I learn a lot from you. We are expecting our first Dexter calf soon.
You care for and love these pigs so much. Do you farm pigs for meat? Will you eat the piglets? I just can’t believe that such a loving man could do that with such indifference. You can really see the love he has in his heart for those pigs.
I love your jokes, they Crack me up, keep them coming.😂
From one former Mountaineer thank you for wearing the mountaineer shirt.
Also that was one of your best jokes about the airplane crash.

Thanks for the farm tour. Love this channel
Hello young man I've just watched this video and when you were in the garden I suddenly thought that have you ever thought about leaving a bit of your manure putting it in the garden in a pile and planting pumpkin seeds in it it would be a lovely treat for all the animals as well as you and the Pumpkins as seeds are a very cheap feed because you wouldn't even need fertiliser
Thanks for the tour.👍
You had me at piglet nursery. Then you throw Ritchie Blackmore in the mix... Good video guys!!!
Thanks for showing us around the farm again.....can't wait to see how many piglets you will get.....and, then the other sow delivers.....wow, you will be up to your eyes in piglets. I did enjoy this video a Lot! thanks. Bev in Maine
