A guy I knew slid down hill off a narrow trail about 30 feet. He landed in a rattlesnake nest and was bitten by baby rattlers. I didn’t believe him until he showed me the boots he’d worn and they were covered in small fang marks. And just to add to the story, Gall’s catalog had sent him the wrong boots he’d ordered for work. They sent him snake bite proof boots by mistake. He didn’t want to go through the hassle of sending them back and kept them for hiking. The boots saved his life.
Uncle Nemo from the east side of Philly, great guy. He was skydiving and as he was heading towards earth a plane flew overhead, just then passengers started hurling motherfing snakes off in his direction. I didn’t trust him until he showed me the GoPro clip with tiny bite marks all over his parachute. To add to the madness, a year before hand he had contacted Bosley to have his eyebrows put on, he was born without them. They accidentally transplanted the hair from his butt to his head. He liked how thick his hair had become and all the new hairdos he could try so he kept it. That Afro saved his life.

Overlord I like rattlesnakes more than other snakes because they really do do a lot of warning with their rattles for you to stay away before they attack. They are still quite afraid of you. They’ll only attack if they absolutely must.

I remember as a teenager going to the mountains to camp with some friends, I decided to go hiking alone. I had never been hiking or camping before so It was new and exciting. I faintly hear a buzzing noise in this big open trail so I walk to investigate it, thinking it was some sort of bug. I get closer to the noise looking around the thick bushes to catch a glimpse of what kind of insect could be making that sound. Then suddenly, I thought, what if it’s a rattlesnake making that noise!? I immediately turned around and ran back down. 😂 I wasn’t going to wait and find out. Learned my lesson. I like to imagine that it was and that I eluded getting bitten.

Hunter Allen I don't know what kinda rattle snakes these were but if they are like the diamondback rattle snakes and others around me... they have a single mate for the female but 2+ males for one female leads to fights. You would have seen them rising to to size the other, a kinda dancing motion, then headbutts (since the snakes know if they bite they would kill each other with venom). But other snakes mate in masses like this but you would see 30+ snakes kinda staking on the females.
